This was a lovely hotel, with a good size room and a balcony with views over the mountains. Close to the lake and within easy reach of Halstatt. The host was lovely and explained where we could find restaurants and places to visit and parking.

We arrived here early afternoon on a very hot day after a couple of busy days in Salzburg and the morning in and around Hallstatt. We were hot, sweaty and tired and this place was the perfect antitdote. A large, clean, cool room with a comfortable bed and a fabulous shower with good towels. A cold shower and a nap and we were restored. The table and chairs provided were perfect for diary notes, maps and route planning and a couple of glasses of wine using the glasses supplied in the bathroom. A kettle ,mugs and coffee/tea were also great for a hot drink later on. Parking right outside the front door. Only downside would be the narrow staircase if you have mobility issues. The hotel was easy to find and our room was quiet overnight. Recommended.

Only thing boder me is the curtains. Was very thin and transparent and it woke me up at 5 am with all the light coming into the room.

The location was great and the room was very spacious, two rooms with three beds. The view from the house was fabulous. The host was super nice and friendly. This town is close to Hallstatt (4 min by bus, 40 minutes walk from this house) but much quieter. It was definitely worth the value.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Cozy apartment, very beautiful and warm with a stunning view at the snowy place surrounding the hotel. The location was perfect just 4 minutes from Hallstatt by car. The host was so kind and friendly to us. Unfortunately we stayed for one night because it was sold out but next time we will stay longer for sure!!

Location is King, and this place has it all! Super attentive hosts, great price, and willing to make your stay comfortable. As locals, they give you great recommendations, like the bakery a few minutes walk, also with great breakfast and friendly service, and your visit to Hallstatt.

This hotel has a good location and is not far from restaurants and Hallstatt. Its beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spacious and well-organized. Moreover, it is conveniently away from the center of Hallstatt.

Anna is very friendly & accommodating. We arrived earlier than check-in time, and she allowed us to store our luggage in the room before she cleaned up our room. The room was very clean & cosy with nice fragrance. It is still within walking distance from the station. We had a nice walk to Hallstatt, too. I would highly recommend it to whoever wants to stay near Hallstatt at a reasonable price.

Everything was great from the moment we came. The building and the room are nice and cozy, clean and well equipped. The hotel is quite close to the railway station Obertraun, it takes just 10-15 minutes to walk. The road to the hotel is pleasant and flat. The hostess Anna is very hospitable and ready to help. Many thanks, it was a great pleasure to stay here!

It’s located at Obertraun which is nearby of Hallstatt 4km .Very nice breakfast .it can walkable distance from train station.have kitchen amenities in room .So you can buy sth and get hot at room .There is a shop and bakery in obertraun so no need to go every time Hallstatt.If you stay here I highly recommend rent a bike and enjoy the days .In Obertraun have places to rent a bike

The place is outdated. The rooms are on the second floor so it is necessary to go up narrow winding stairs. The place is called a lake view, but you can only see a small piece of the lake, and that too only from a certain room. In any case, these things did not bother us.

The location was convenient for us. A 4-minute drive from Obertraun and a few minutes drive from the cable car to the 5 Fingers observation deck. We found the place easily. There is free parking nearby. Check in is quick and easy. The room is well lit and clean. There is a large window in the shower and it is ventilated. The person in charge was very kind and gave us good advice. Definitely a pleasant attitude.
