Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicUncomfortable beds. Roof-top apartments has no conditioning (we knew this), it is oriented to the rush main road with heavy traffic all night - sleeping with open windows is not possible - avoid these rooms if you have light sleep. Room could have a small fridge, given to lack of restaurant on site.
Clean, great service Nice breakfast, although bit limited (at least scrambled eggs or omelete could be an option on request), but for 3-4 nights it is OK. Easy access to the lake beach Spacius rooms (rooftop)

HungaryThe rooms were sometimes a bit noisy, but after cycling all day, this did not really disturb our sleep.
The location was wonderful, especially that we could see the mountains and the lake from the balcony, and we could go for very nice bicycle trips starting from the hotel. The breakfast was also very good and the people at the hotel were really nice.

United KingdomOld Austrian building / Very tired and run down /In desperate need of an update /On very very busy main road All wooden floors and stairs are very creaky /No proper reception. Just a room off the hall that looked like part of the owners living accommodation. Rooms at the back do have views of the lake but also very unkept garden and tennis courts in between. The suite we booked was just a very large room with separate toilet and bathroom very small steps between with no markings I lost my balance twice. The bathroom had no blinds or curtains to the very large window. The overhead shower didn’t work and the hand shower had a lot of limescale. No toiletries provided except hand soap The furniture was very old and mismatched The pine bed was up against a door that led to the next room The mattress was old and rock hard. The burgundy colour sheets were old and faded and had never seen an iron. Don’t think we have had coloured sheets in a hotel since the 70s In fact they probably were that old. The curtains in the bedroom were not wide enough for the window and not fixed. When pulled the pole moved with them. The smoke detector head was missing and only the base was fixed to the ceiling. AND THIS IS A TOTALLY WOODEN BUILDING After a sleepless night we left in the morning. We could not face the breakfast we had also paid for. We did try to explain that the hotel and room was unacceptable but neither spoke English . Although I am sure the understood we were not happy and would be making a complaint to Booking.com. The owners refused to credit us with the two aborted nights when contacted by Booking.com There reply to our complaints was … We had not given them an opportunity to put things right !! What a joke we were only going to be there for 3 nights!! We had to find another hotel for the next two nights quickly as we were going to a wedding the next day. We then discovered that this hotel was the most expensive in that area.
Nothing DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL Shocking that this hotel is marked as fabulous/ Unbelievable that they can charge £813 for 3 nights And not surprising they insist you pay upfront.

United KingdomWe booked a room with a "mountain view". The room we got was right next to a loud motorway. In the day time the noise was intrusive, but at night it was unbearable. Because there was no air conditioning we had to sleep with the windows open, and it was almost impossible. We asked to change rooms on the basis of the terrible noise and the false advertising (it actually looked out a low hill), but the manager told us that "all the rooms had mountain views" and said that we could only move for another 80 euros. This seems like an absolute con as any person unfamiliar with the area would assume that the "mountain view" corresponds to the enormous mountain above the lake shown in the pictures of the hotel. Rather than continuing to fight over the definition of a mountain, we decided to just try and deal with the noise and the heat and the bad atmosphere, but it was a very uncomfortable stay, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
