The hotel was recently refurbished and everything is new and well designed, it also has a great location in case you want to stay in the center of St.Wolfgang. The checkin system is very convenient.

The bathroom curtain does not indeed cover the whole “bathroom”, for some people that might be a problem. For that very reason, it would have also been cool to have some translucent curtains on the windows that face other hotels. The church nearby has an automated (?) bell ringing that you can hear every hour (even in the night), so light sleepers need some ear plugs.

    Clean, modern, good breakfast.

Strange shower set up in middle of the room and no privacy. Why not add a simple frosting to the glass at least??

    Good location Spacious room

It is a lovers hotel and the showeru room cannot be closed. We are traveling with teenager son. Very stupid. For a hotel costing 350 euro/night, it doesn't have 24 hr front desk or any mini bar in the room. We wanted to drink some hot water at 9:30 pm. We cannot cook it by ourselves, and the hotel reception room was already locked. No staff is there. We had to go out to the cafe to buy hot water. It was ridiculous.

We stayed with friends in the apartment under the very roof . We had our own large balcony with great views of the lake, mountains, and Catholic cathedral. It is an amazing experience. The location of the hotel is very convenient. This is the centre. There are many restaurants, authentic shops, beautiful medieval streets and of course a lake with a marina. We had an amazing time here. The hotel also has a restaurant with summer area and a bar, which is very convenient. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived a few hours before our check-in time and the reception allowed us to leave our suitcases to be able to walk around the city with ease while we waited. Also, on the day of check out the staff allowed us to leave our suitcases at the hotel until our bus arrived in the evening. We are eternally grateful for the wonderful service, friendliness and amazing days stay in this hotel and in this city . We will definitely return again.

Nice design, clean rooms, good location. Good breakfast.

The hotel looks directly to the town square, in the night it is very noisy. The weather was hot and AC was not working therefore no chance to sleep with windows closed.

    - Walking distance to everything - Good breakfast

** All of the below for 210 euros a night - We stayed on the 4th floor, and it was extremely hot in the room. No mini-fridge to cool the drinks, no AC, no fans. - If you keep the window closed, you have to stay in 30 degrees. If you open the window will a) have mosquitoes as there is no bug net, or b) the apartments in the opposite building will see right in your shower - The curtains of the shower are see-through. If the window is open, there is no way to cover the area 100% so people from other buildings will see right in the shower and "bathroom" - The room is so small that if you open the window, you can no longer walk around the bed (see picture) - No fan, no AC (again, extremely hot in the summer) - At least a bug net should be mounted - 210 euros per night is by far not worth it for what you get

Location was great. Beds are comfortable.

Overall this seems like a thoughtlessly ran place. We arrived on a Wednesday and the reception was closed which meant we had to wait with our luggage for two hours in the middle of a heat wave before we could do anything. Our other option was to leave the luggage in the middle of a stairwell without any security. A heads up would have been nice so we could have planned our arrival better. It was very very hot and they don’t have fans. The receptionist just said “that’s how we are” no willingness to help. (the surrounding hotels have them, we ended up staying in another hotel 1 of the nights of our 3-night stay). Now to the showers: we knew about these going in because we had read about them, but the solution is so simple. Just get blackout curtains so the shower can’t be seen by everyone in the room (pictures attached). There are also no hangers, just these lockers that are not practical at all and rattle when you walk by. Overall it just seems like a lot of the drawbacks have simple solutions but they’re not willing to provide them or think through it. Instead they have a plastic black horse in the middle of the hallway, so I guess there was budget for that. As I mentioned, we had such an uncomfortable first night that we went to another hotel the second night. If you are someone used to comforts or someone who is uncomfortable in heat, I would reconsider for the summer.
