Everything was perfect!

We had an extraordinary experience at this hotel, where our entire family felt truly wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend it — 100% — to anyone who wants to feel and enjoy history while visiting Vienna. The breakfast is incredibly delicious, featuring local products, and accompanied by the enchanting music of Mozart in the background. Every detail is arranged with exquisite taste and great attention, highlighting the historical charm of the hotel in such a way that you step in with both joy and a deep sense of respect for the place. It is an excellent choice whether you’re visiting in summer, during the magical Christmas markets, or simply need a place to stay while passing through. There is nothing negative to say.

Nice atmosphere, cosy and comfortable. The staf is friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is placed central of Klosterneuburg, so you can enjoy the city and aroundings, and easy take the bus or train to Wienna or other places. We had a 6 nights stay, and will recommend this place for averyone who wants a nice, quietly and comfortable stay.

There was nothing we didn't like. It was all good.

Breakfast was great, good selection. Particularly lovely sitting outside in the summer sunshine to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Room was beautiful, very homely and traditional. Staff were excellent, could not be more helpful. Excellent location in centre of town. It was all perfect.

Lovely old hotel right in town opposite the railway station. Excellent breakfast. Interesting paintings in the rooms. Thick walls so very quiet.

Had an excellent stay here - the staff at Schrannenhof were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome. The breakfast included a great variety of choices, including some homemade jams and eggs from their own chickens. The hotel itself, which is a 15th-century building, has charm and character to it, and is in a decent and quiet location with both a bus stop and a train station out the front, making travel to Vienna and around the area convenient.

Great family hotel, very friendly staff, great location for going to the center of Wien. The bus station is right in front of the hotel, and you are in the center in 25 min with public transport (bus or train).

Nothing to fault

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Generous rooms that were always immaculate and a truly scrumptious breakfast buffet. Local shops and attractions are all within walking distance, while getting into central Vienna was also easy. A wonderfully romantic pre-Christmas destination.

Nothing could have been better. We could happily have stayed for much longer.

It was a wonderful hotel. Staff were lovely, helpful and caring. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and worked well as private apartments for the family rather than being single, impersonal rooms. The breakfasts were amazing and filled us up for much of the day.

Free parking is a little tight. Limited dining options, although they are three restaurants and a bakery next to the hotel.

Wonderful old world hotel in a small town just outside Vienna city limits. The hotel sits adjacent to the bus and train station so simple to get into the heart of Vienna. Very friendly and helpful staff! Fabulous breakfast

Maybe the hotel can provide some one-use slippers for their guests and renew the sofas in their room. Thus an air humidifier or air conditioner could be great in order to eliminate humid smell in of the room.

First of all, the staff is very friendly and we're delighted to stay in this historic and wonderful hotel. Breakfast was exquisite. Parking was safe and couldn't be better. The room was huge, it was more like a house. It even has a outside coffee table to chill in front of your own room. It was a wonderful experience to stay in Schrannenhof.
