Just smaller things - pool is a bit too deep for younger kids to be able to stand. We found the tv a bit small, and we would have liked to have had access to Netflix.

There was lots to like about this hotel! We particularly appreciated the convenient location close to the train station, the very clean and big pool area, the breakfast and afternoon snack, the onsite tennis courts, and the onsite restaurant. Everything under one roof. We loved that we could use the wellness area all day on the days we checked in and out.

Everything. Practically flawless. Location (5 minutes walk from Schneebergbahn), quality of the hotel, hospitality of the staff. The dinner was superb. On top of áll that we got a room with mountain view.

Beautiful old hotel with additional modern facilities, in a wonderful location. The breakfasts and evening restaurant menus were excellent with delicious food and excellent waiter service. Gorgeous views of the mountains from our room and a lovely balcony too. Great walks from right outside the door.

The hotel is located a few meters from the railway with all the noise consequences. But this cannot be changed. True, at night the trains stop running.

The hotel is located next to the mountain railway that leads to the Schneeberg mountain. This is very convenient for lovers of hiking routes on the mountain. Very beautiful place! Friendly staff, good breakfasts, clean. No complaints about this place!

The was no air conditioner in the room and it was quite hot. The staff had no fan to provide us and sleeping with the door open wasn't a good option due to the noisy area.

The hotel was great and was super close to the train station. The facilities are awesome.

The rooms are not little children (4 and 5 yo) friendly.

However the waiters speak English, it would be nice to have an (at least) English language menu too for the guests who deos not speak German.

Very good location, 5 mins walk to the Salamander train station. Fantastic view from the balcony to the Hills. All the staff is extremely nice and helpful. We choose the halfboard, that was a good decision. The sortiment is pretty good, meals are delicios.

Hotel Schneeberghof is a must-stay. It is across the street from the hauptbahnhof to the top of Schneeberg (which the stay includes discounted tickets for!) The dinner and breakfast were included in the half-board option and both we excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff was very welcoming. There are hiking trails all around the hotel as well.

No air condition or fan, made it difficult to rest and sleep during the warm days. Dinner was below expectations.

Nice room, good shower, nice breakfast. Lovely pool. Helpful stuff, especially the lady at the reception who changed our room for one with better view and arranged early breakfast for us. Close to Salamandra train.

Beds could be a bit more comfortable. No double bed, only single ones. Heating could be a bit more powerful.

Staff is super friendly. If you run into a tasting menu - that's excellent. (The other dinner was forgettable). Very good sauna area. No hidden costs!

Nothing to speak of. The room was a bit dry but we solved that by opening the window!

The food was outstanding. If you consider yourself to be a foodie then this place is for you! We stayed for a week and had the vegetarian options a number of times and even these were stellar. Breakfast was great also with a good assortment of freshly baked bread, flavourful scrambled eggs, fresh fruit salad and a really nice tea section - and so much more! Lastly, the pool and spa area was all you could ask for. I don't normally swim in public pools but made an exception here. Chlorine levels were perfect.
