A convenient hotel near the railway station, currently in a construction zone
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Comfort Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

The redecorated room is very plain although the new windows are good at keeping out the noise. There was a major construction project going on across the street which began at 7 each morning which was annoying and noisy. The cost for such plain accommodations is too high.

We have stayed at the Sailer several times. The location is very good, just a block from the Hauptbahnhof and a short walk to the old town. There are good restaurants nearby and a restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast is outstanding with great variety and the personnel are friendly.

    Nothing

A beautiful blend of modern smart and traditional decoration with all facilities working perfectly in a perfect location round the corner from the main train station and bus station with a shuttle service to Swarovski.

The glass bathroom made things difficult sometimes cause you couldn’t shower when someone was asleep

Close to the station and nice enough rooms

An average hotel near the train station

The bottom of the bed was only about 20 cm from the wall and a sliding door into the bathroom. There was no mirror in the main room. The juice at breakfast was from a machine and very sweet and sickly. We had an evening meal there one night but the service was very slow.

The hotel is situated a few minutes from the train station and within walking distance of the centre of town. At breakfast there was plenty of choices. The air con worked very well.

View out of the window is a parking lot. Traveling alone I got an "upgrade" to a suite which was a 2 room space with a couch in room 2 already converted to a second bed. Felt a bit awkward having space prepared to sleep four, but no actual benefit from the upgrade (second room with the sofa not available). Not a real problem of course.

Very central location, friendly staff, decent size room, quiet.

Very few amenities in the room. No tea or coffee. No slippers, just very bare. Not that great value for the price charged. Breakfast choice was limited.

In room air conditioning that worked well! Friendly staff. Great location, few minutes walk to old town. Decent sized room. Can and must reserve parking in advance - very useful.

The restaurant food was good and the service was excellent but it was perhaps a bit pricey.

The location, close to the railway station and easy walking distance to town. The restaurant was good, tables need to be booked even for guests but we had no problems booking remotely.

We were clearly in a room yet to be renovated and the furniture was quite old. The pictures on the website did not feel particularly reflective We were given a cot that was duct taped together but not really usable. This wasn’t an issue as we had our own but something to bear in mind.

Good location and straight forward parking. We managed to park outside. Clean and comfortable - and nice for one night. Good breakfast!

Downstairs communal areas had clearly had money spent on them and been renovated recently to a high standard. Hopefully they will get round to the rooms too as they could do with a lift.

Play room near reception is very handy, breakfast was good and the separate bedroom for the kids was perfect for us. Shower was decent too.

This is our third stay at the Sailer over the last 20 years. They have done a marvelous job upgrading the facilities over that time. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The location is conveniently close to both the Altstadt as well as the train station. We would gladly stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Innsbruck.
