The furniture and the equipement of the hotel remembers past times. Which could be charming, but everything needs a better care. Even the cleaning could be done more careful. I found hair in my bed and dust on the shelves. I didnt like the bed and bedlinen.

Hotel is set in a nice place, among trees with the view over the city. There is a narrow street to the hotel, with the car there is no problem. Very quiet place, with parking and lot of space. Wonderful breakfest.

The hotel is relatively old, as are its facilities and equipment ... and maybe that's the charm :-)

The hotel is situated on a beautiful and picturesque hillside. From the windows you can see the whole city below (20 walk to the market). Very large rooms with comfortable beds. Very good breakfast buffet, hot rolls ! Large free car park in front of the hotel. Lovely hotel and restaurant staff.

Quiet location, ca 15 min walt to Klagenfurt centre. Parkinga possibility exists, breakfast decent. Personnel was friendly & helpful. OK place for 1-night stay.

A bit out in the sticks, a distance from the lake and the town centre, which wouldn’t be much hassle in a bigger city. The exterior is a little dated but that’s no real critique.

Old style accommodation nestled in a fabulous wood. Surrounded by peace and tranquility. Hotel was kitted out with old style antiques which was refreshing.

The location is very poor; it's up on a hill in the middle of a forest, so it takes half an hour to get to the city center, although it does offer good city views from the balcony. The pillow is uncomfortable, and the room could be cleaner.

The hotel is comfortable, and quite peaceful; the staff is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is included and very good.

Beautiful location, especially when traveling with dog. The park is very near the location. The restaurant is great, very friendly staff and amazing food.

Well, it wasn't a case of what we did not like but we suspected the sat navigation had gone wrong with the location up a narrow lane through the trees. But it was right after all. The staff were courteous but did not go out of their way other than what was in the job description.

The room was clean and comfortable but there were no refreshments such as water or brewing up materials. However, our stay was pleasant with a good breakfast included.

The only bad thing was the terrible smell from the kitchen till 21:00 when the restaurant is closing. We absolutely do not understand why the kitchen doesn't have exhaust up to the roof

We stayed only one night but we have appreciated the quality og the restaurant of the hotel, that is placed in a wonderful place, on the hill above the city center of Klagenfurt. The room was comfortable, the place very quiet.

Very friendly staff. Super location - up a little hill, in the woods. Great atmosphere. Good food. Quiet and cozy place. Both the food and accommodation are reasonably priced. Close to the surrounding points of interest around Klagenfurt. Only a 10 min. drive away from the Wörthersee. Altogether a lovely place to stay.

Unfortunately, not enough staff to have the bar open. The restaurant closed at 3 on Sunday. The hotel was on top of a very steep hill. It cost €10 in taxi from closest taxi rank to the hotel entrance. (Less than one kilometer)

The scenery was beautiful. The hotel was clean and warm. Room was a good size. Bathroom was spotless. Staff always there to help.

I was sent a message before arriving about using the key safe, but when I opened it, there was no key inside. There was no signage at the front or the side of the hotel indicating which entrance to use and no reception area, so I wasn't at all sure if I was in the right place. Proper instructions and directions would have been helpful. Decor was very dated and unappealing. WiFi was intermittent.

Very nice and comfortable room with a small (but well equipped) bathroom, balcony as a bonus. Parking next to a hotel which is placed in the woods at the edge of Klagenfurt - beautiful and quiet surroundings with a view of the city and mountains. Awesome!
