The pillows. Far too soft

Really nice that they offer lunch, drinks and afternoon cake for free when you pay for breakfast. The sauna facilities are good and calm. Swimming pool outside is quite busy with children having a good time but here is a gorgeous lake nearby. It is mostly a hotel for families but we stayed there with the two of us and we had a nice time. Parking is free in front of the hotel or in another location nearby. Flachau is an authentic, original village, with locals walking and working in traditional cloths. And the best is that it near the main road to Salzburg, so easy to combine with other destinations.

The only down side is that there is no climate control option in the room.

Perfect place for short family stay. Nice and cozy hotel, good sauna, very nice breakfast. Special thanks for hotel staff that our rooms were upgrated and we have got a connected family room.

The rooms in the main building are tiny and I’m not sure everyone will appreciate the design - it is pretty but not practical (bathroom doesn’t have a door and toliet has a sliding door with a big gap). Strange smell from the toilet. Wifi in the room is shaky - for video conferences you’re better off in the restaurant, if you need to do a bit of work on your vacation.

Location is great, few minutes walk from the lift. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are excellent. Good spa facilities. Playground facilities. Convenientl parking. For families with kids it is a great choice.

The Hotel Staff, the Owners are so friendly, kind and nice people. The owners are everywhere always be sure everything is ok for their guests. The location is very good it is quite close to the ski area starjet. The breakfast is wonderfull. The restaurant is serving quite delicious foods and the staff is very nice. We had an unexpected accident and my son’s leg is broken while skiing. He has been taken by helicopter to the Schwarzenberg Klinikum and I had to drive afterwards to hospital. I was in tears and was in a shock. From the owner familiy, Sabrina was near me when she learnt the situation and was so supportive during our horrible times on Christmas night. Obviously we would like to come to the hotel once more, it can not end like this.

not all staff as friendly, my family and I noticed that the service and friendliness in Flachau ski area is going down in comparison with the past (this was the fourth time in Flachau)

We got a very old style room in old house - stinking like hell as of local restaurant - max 2* quality … we had to complain and got other room at 40€ extra

no value for the money, room was very small, 2.5 x 3.5 M2 for 2 single beds, 2 cabots, small corridor to shower 2x2, maybe smaller, €690 2 adults/ 3 nights. There wasn't even a chair to sit on. disappointed....lucky the friendly people and fantastic breakfast compensate it a little bit Room 718 don't take it
