The room was amazing! And we even had a balcony with a great views to the mountains. Check in was very smooth, instructions were give before the arrival. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Bed was big and comfortable, area very quiet.

Nothing we didn't liked. All was fine.

Very great place where you get value for money, with a tasteful breakfast prepared by the owner. We just stayed 1 night as colleagues as it was a stop on our trip towards Obertauern.

Exactly as it was described so totally met our expectations. Ski bus stop right outside Pension, 12 minute transfer to Zauchensee with minimal hassle. Continental breakfasts super fresh, varied and tasty. Rooms very clean & tidied every day. Anna & hubby very friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again & for longer.

No complaints to owners. Only one negative thing relates to snow conditions in local area due worst weather conditions at beginning of 2023.

We liked the place we have lived. Great accomodation provided by locals with daily possibility of brekfast since 7 :30 am. Accomodation ready when coming. First evening when coming the pension had the trouble with heating but owner provided us the alternative by ordering the room in local hotel close to pension as the compensation without any fee. It has been repaired next day morning and we could move back to pension. In general, nice, animal and kids friendly, clean accomodation , managed each day when you make to profit from skiing or other sport activities. Altenmarkt is great village to go to ski within nearest ski resorts as Zauchensee, Flachau or directly Radstat/ Altenmarkt. There is the possibility to take the ski bus dirrectly before the pension, really confortable and quick connection with the ski resort of Zauchensee where you can be in 10 minutes and you dont need to spend time in huge traffic. Fully recommendation of the pension, highly appreciated hospitality of owners.

Dark and not welcoming corridors to the room. The room above was being renovated and the drilling, banging and loud noise continued to 9pm. The balcony is not private at all and shared by the other rooms. There was empty bottles and cans on the balcony from the previous guests. Bed was really creaky, whenever you moved it woke up the other person up. Not the hotel's fault but the road is very noisy and if you are a light sleeper you will not get a decent rest. Rooms are very basic, no kettle, only half used hand gel provided in the bathroom. For the price they charge we were expecting much more.

When we entered in the room in the afternoon, it was very cold eventhough outside was 18 degrees celcius. The heater couldn’t be turned on so we stayed like this until we called the owner and he told us that due to the fact outside very warm that day, the heating was off and that it was going to be on in the evening. And actually I did turn on in the evening and then off again around midnight. So by 5 AM with 2 degrees outside, it became freezing cold and very uncomfortable. No shampoo or shower gel in the shower, only hand soap.

The location was good and you could’t hear much noise during the night. The hosts were polite too.

Unfortunately the apartment was really dirty. The floor was sticky, dust everywhere. There were only two forks in the kitchen, we had to wash all the dishes before using them. The mattresses were uncomfortable and needed replacing. The owners basically did not communicate with us even though we met several times. When we wanted to sit in the garden in the evening and have dinner there, the owner was grilling there and we didn't feel very welcome. We travel to Austria very often, especially to this area, and it's a real shame because the apartment is in a great location and has great potential.

Nice apartment in a beautiful location. Terrace with access to the garden, parking in front of the house and ski storage (we didn't use it). There are several larger and smaller ski resorts in the area. Clean and big bathroom.
