Breakfast was always on time, very tasty and varied. Vegetarian options were included, hot and cold drinks were always available, as well as various dairy products (yoghurt and at least five cheese selections) and vegetables (tomatoes, peppers (red & yellow), cucumbers, etc). The room was always cleaned thoroughly when we were on the ski slopes, we had enough sheets and towels. Warm water was always there when we needed it, the rooms were also sufficiently warm and cozy. The kitchen also had all the advertised utilities. There was always a place for us to park our car when we came back from the slopes. Wi-Fi was fast and stable.

The room was smaller but cosy and we did not miss anything. Everything was clean. The breakfest was excellent - big variety of food. Every table on breakfest is shared by two rooms, but for us it was ok - we had a nice chat with another couple from Austria. The breakfest could start, though, at 7 (instead of 7.30) so that you can be sooner on the slope. The host is very kind and friendly, she also suggested to us a nice Italian restaurant in the centre of the village.

We really appreciate freindly staff there. It's a very lovel and cosy place with all you need. Loceted close to the centre of the city with nice landscapes. They served amazing breakfast with wide selection of local and bio products every morning. I can really recomend this great place to stay.

Located up a hill on the edge of town, this is a great location for getting around the Gailtal. The owner is a lovely, helpful woman who cares about her guests. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. We had a beautiful large balcony with a view down into town and across the valley to the mountains. Newly updated, there were convenient outlets with USB ports by the bed. There was plenty of space to open our luggage. Breakfast is an amazing spread of local products including delicious breads, cheeses, meats, eggs from the hotel's own chickens, cakes, juices, overnight oats, vegan items, fruits, teas, and coffee.

It was an unusually hot week and rooms not air conditions though I imagine that isn’t generally needed.

Overlooking the town of Hermagor and just a 12 minute walk from train station. Amazing breakfast of a vast and varied selection of local produce. Eggs from their own chickens and quails. Easy to walk (downhill) to the centre of town for an evening meal. The garden is scattered with corners to sit in and a lovely small pool to lounge around in the heat of the day. Good room size.

It is a pension, not a hotel. So you are not going to find facilities like a restaurant or bar. However breakfasts were varied and coffee was ok! Staff very helpful. Some people will not like that you have to cook your own eggs and share tables (they were fully booked) but we feel that this was fun and not a problem at all,

A great place to stay there some days and visit the lakes and mountains of Carintia. The pool is not big but very convenient since it was very hot those days.

I would like to be back, when the garden is finishen in front.... If the style is fulfilled like it startede All over the rest og the outside, It wiil for sure be a succesfull result 👍. Could have used a electric cooker, for my evenibg coffee, in the room. (or in the shared facillities) 👍

Breakfast at Villa Blumegg was one of the best we've ever had. Diverse, high quality ingredients (cheese, free range eggs, ham, salami, fruits, frappes, cerials, jams, great coffee maker + many other wonders)... Apartment room was clean, spacious, modern, functional bathroom + great bad... joy to stay and rest after a day of skiing. Villa is placed atop of Hermagor and has a wonderful view to a surrounding mountain range. Landlady Catherine was a true charm and very helpful with hints around the place. Warm recommendation for all the travelers who want to experience an unconventional and very special ski weekend.
