A charming hotel with a very local atmosphere. The owners are lovely and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The garden is fantastic. All this almost makes you forget the train line that runs along the side of the property. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing trip!

I met Tamara upon arrival. She checked me in, showed me on a map various nearby restaurants, and gave me good info about the ongoing celebration in the old town, She was super !! Breakfasts were simple, but adequate. The main train station is a short walk away, close enough to drag my bag vice call a taxi. The building itself is beautiful, especially the many flowers and outdoor areas. No elevator, but Tamara even offered to help carry my bag up one flight. Pension Rainhof is well situated between the train station and the old town, and is a good value. You can't go wrong by staying at Pension Rainhof !!

The weather was very hot when we stayed so a small fridge in the room would have been a bonus in which to keep cold drinks. The property is located next to a railway line which might not suit everyone.

Great location very close to town centre with ample free parking. Super friendly host Tamara helped us find restaurants in town and guided us on local activities. The room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was very tasty. We only stayed for one night but would definitely return.

The pension is located right next to a railway which is surprisingly busy and loud, you can even feel the vibrations at times. The first night after our arrival there was only cold (or lukewarm) water in the shower, but luckily that was only an issue for the first night.

The pension is very picturesque and conveniently located in a walking distance to the Kitzbuhel city center while staying away from the night life. Tamara was very friendly and always there to help us get around or pick a place for a dinner. Overall a very good budget option for skiing in Austria.

Vera cosy, clean and small hotel very close to the heart of Kitzbühel. Nice breakfast and extra plus for a large room to store the skiequipment. The skibus stops very close to the hotel and it was really easy to get around. The hostess, Tamara, was very welcoming and helpful. The stay was more than satisfying.

The only thing even worth mentioning is that it is right near train tracks. But honestly, you notice the first few, and after that it just becomes background noise which doesn’t bother you at all.

Very authentic property in the local style with absolutely fantastic hosts. People make a place, and Tamara and her family and colleagues made us feel more like friends visiting than paying guests. Location is great, right near the Hornbahn and with a short walk or bus ride to the Hahnenkammbahn.

I felt we were missing a common lobby room to just hang out, however Tamara allowed us full use of the breakfast room even in the evenings, and there were board games there too as well as coffee and tea whenever we wanted.

The location was very accessible from the train station and bus stops. It was even walkable to the central lift. The breakfasts were filling and of good quality and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The nicest thing about the hotel was the people. Tamara who runs her family hotel is so helpful and kind that I felt very welcome. We were a large group and she assisted us in finding restaurant reservations. The women cleaning are excellent and friendly. The location and price was very comfortable

Wouldn't say there was something I didn't like.

The location is perfect, right beneath the Hornbahn station and there is a bus station only 2 minutes from Rainhof to get to the Hahnenkammbahn within a few minutes. After having dinner in the center of Kitzbühel we even walked home. The host is very friendly.

It's right beside the railway line. Whilst the windows kept the noise out very well there's no aircon so if weather was roasting you'd have a dilemma..

Spotlessly clean, great varied breakfast, friendly staff, historic lovely building, close to centre of town, comfortable beds.
