How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I didn't like that the check had to be made out to a different address. The room smelled of urine. And the smell of cow manure was coming from outside, and it was quite strong.

Everything quite old, beds outdated etc. checking is at a different location and very impersonal. No coffee or anything.
Good for the price (62e) but dont expect anything fancy. Terrace outside is nice to sit for a bit. Seemed clean.

It's a budget hotel. So would be unfair too critical.
balcony is a good size. Plenty of space to park.

Unfortunately, we got room with broken bed grate on various places on bed on both sides. It was not very comfortable. And we got two different sets of pillows and blankets. Mine was really nice and comfy and boyfriends was a joke. Thin layer of blanket and "lumpy" pillow.
Quality price performance ratio was really good! Room was clean and staff friendly.

Super great value and perfect for a brief ski trip to Kitzsteinhorn. Simple room with a comfortable bed, hot shower, and even a balcony. An easy 5 minute walk from the bus stop across flat road. Nice breakfast at the Hotel Martini next door for only 15 Euro/person.

The building does not have a elevators in the building and we got the rooms at 3rd floor we are in our sixties.
This is not a hotel there is no staff there is no staff around. It is somewhat like Air BNB property.

Worst bed and pillow I've ever slept on. Very very uncomfortable bed. Pillows are not pillows because they have a minimum of 1 cm of filling. Can't sleep!! My neck hurts a lot!!

The very impersonal nature. The only communication with management was via messaging. Nobody was there to greet us or give us our key and the only time we saw anyone was when we wanted our room changed. The management looked to be done from next door, which is where we had to go for breakfast.
Comfortable room, lots of spaced. Fast management response when we wanted our room changed.

Upper floor is only accessible by stairs and it was difficult to go up. My mistake for not informing that I am disabled. Another important thing - I asked in advance about a guest card. They told me yes there is. In the morning we received papers without any explanation. We went to the high Alfi road and had to pay for entrance because what we received at the accommodation was actually nothing and not a guest card which was supposed to give free entry to the high Alfi road . Location was good but value for money was not

Staff were very helpful and gave good advice on local attractions and activities. Breakfast was very good. Martin came in to breakfast room one morning and gave all the guests an impromptu performance on the accordion!!

Not the cleanest nor pleasant place
The place is ok, but the checo in was the most awful in my life. I was to arrive late and the manager hid a key for me in a plant. Arriving at the place during the middle of the night I found out the key was in another building to which he did not give me the address. If it weren’t for a cleaning lady who woke up at 2am and helped me, me and the kids would have no place to sleep after a long day traveling

There was an awful smell from the bathroom of detergent trying to mask something disgusting. The bottom of the toilet was black. No staff at the property, the check in has to be done 1,5km away.
