Even though I was only there for one night, I felt welcome and comfortable...traveling solo, that is important! This pension was just oozing with charm and true heritage of the area. I adore staying at places like this. Pension Grein was also very well located to restaurants nearby and had a most wonderful breakfast.

Someone may dislike that the shower is literally in the main room (with just a narrow curtain to have privacy), however we didn't mind.

The room was (unexpectedly) quiet because it didn't face the main road, but the backyard garden. It was very spacious. The breakfast was good and abundant. The owners are very friendly. There was a garage to store bicycles (and recharge if you have an e-bike). The village and the surrounding mountains are very picturesque.

Net curtain to bathroom covering just half the window. Shower bracket in Bath ok if your only 1500mm tall.

We didn't like the bathroom. The shower and the sink were in the room, not in a separate closed space and it looks cheap.

We arrived on schedule, yet there was no one to greet us. I speak English, the owner doesnt, but she told us to check In online..I didnt have internet access and was told we have to do it...not what you want after a long drive. There wasnt a proper shower , it was a bath and half shower, that only reached the waist..we flooded the floor every time we used it. No proper coffee or cappuccino at breakfast, just coffee from a pot , which was horrible ! 🤪. Cant start a day of skiing with a bad coffee .Owner noisily refilling the cups , and fussing around..cant she wait 10 mins till breakfast ends..? We weren't told about the ski or bike storage , we weren't properly greeted. And all with the functional Austrian way, they assume you know how everything works.

There is little parking space, and no chance to park if you come late with a fully booked property.

A traditional Pension, with good breakfast and comfortable bed. When you get into your room, you do a "self check-in" via QR-code. First time I´ve seen that, but it worked out fine. The parking was on the premises and to go inte the centre of the village, you just have to cross the very busy road outside the pension, go down a slope and you were there.
