The only downsides were that the minibar wasn’t cold, and the balconies are connected, so there isn’t much privacy outside. But it wasn't that critical to us.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the beach. They even surprised my wife with wine for her birthday,Highly recommended!

The rooms are a bit simpler compared to hotels, and the facilities are more basic. However, everything was clean and well-kept.

The guesthouse had a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel at home. The location in Obertraun is peaceful, close to Hallstatt, and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

My stay was 5/5 stars! The room and facilities seemed brand new. Very clean and I enjoyed keeping the window open at night to sleep in the fresh air. Quiet area away from the busy Hallstatt city. I’m glad I decided to stay in Obertraun. Breakfast was also fantastic! A great selection of hot food and yogurt/fruit/pastries and coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful! Stay here, you won’t regret it ☺️

Everything! Bright, warm and welcoming with friendly staff who had lots of recommendations of where to explore. It’s situated in a nice quiet area perfect base for exploring Hallstatt or other surrounding towns. We are looking at returning already

The location is near the supermarket, we went 5-7 minutes to the train station, bus stop, about 10 minutes to the lake. The personal is polite, we could check in earlier. The breakfast was delicious and we didn't want to eat until evening :)

Newly refurbished hotel, with fantastic views and big specious rooms. Was great to have a balcony to use. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent. We had 2 nights here but could have stayed much longer! We will definitely be revising.

It's a great place to explore nearby Hallstatt in the best possible way. On the other side of the lake, it's close to the port where boats and ships depart for Hallstatt. It's also close to the Dachstein Glacier cable car. We were lucky to choose this property because it had recently opened, so everything was brand new. We were only passing through for a short two-night stay, which wasn't enough to explore all the nearby attractions, but you can easily spend many days at the property. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast is quite generous and very tasty. The service is exceptional. We highly recommend it.

A very new and contemporary hotel. Big size with a balcony. Locate not too far from train station . Can take bus or ferry to Hallsttat. A supermarket nearby. Breakfast is good with enough choices. Staff are helpful.
