How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Excellent hospitality !the crew members were extensionally nice. Breakfast was superb. The rooms were a bit small but contain everything you can think of and more. The garden contains a playground for the kids which was very nice.

Absolutely amazing. Although it is a private property, the rooms exceed most hotel rooms in style and amenities and so does the breakfast. A very wide choice of anything you could imagine, cold cuts, fruit, vegetables, various kinds of bread, pancakes, eggs made to order. The all-day availability of tea and coffee as well as the offer of cold drinks for reasonable prices is amazing.

We had lovely stay at very lovely family apartment,clean ,comfortable and decorated to high standard.We were pleasantly surprised by the addition of eggs from their farm which we ate for breakfast- really tasty. I definitely recommend it.Thanks for having us:)

We had a luxury appartment with wide terrace, the room was perfectly clean and beds were very comfortable. Breakfasts were rich and lot of products was home-made. Hot drinks and home-made cookies are for free for all lenght of the stay. The owner of the hotel is very nice lady, who pays attention to individual needs of every single guest. The pension is perfect for families with children as there are various playgrounds and activities for children in the place. Every appartment has also one shelf in the common refridgerator.

Nothing I could remember.
Pleasant rural scenery, hens was singing good evening for you :-). Especially it is a good place for kids - playground, animals, nice staff. Fine starting point for cyclists. Not far from here to lake Traunsee. Recommend.

No air condition if you come on a hot day
It’s an eco friendly place. Looked new. They really tried to think of everything. Nice places to sit , the balcony was large, it was clean and the stuff was very nice tried to help and make us feel good

Perfectly clean, beautiful room, delicious breakfast with all local produce and wonderful cheeses. The host was very kind and considerate and made arrangements for us to check in late. This is a perfect stopover on anyone’s journey from Innsbruck to Vienna.

Everything was perfect
Very friendly pension, family members who run the pension are very kind, new rooms upstairs - very comfortable, privacy. The place was so quiet. Even if the pension was full, it wasnt noisy there. Breakfast was very delicious. I recommend this place!!!

No AC available in the room which was a challenge during the day since weather was very hot.
Breakfast was simple but really good and the staff was super kind and helpful. The view from my room was quite calm and beautiful.

The place was impeccable and the hostess was friendly and very accommodating. We arrived before 10am as we were going to a family gathering and our room was ready for us. The room was pristine and the beds were clean, comfortable and very inviting!! There was a big variety of food for Breakfast and you could eat until your heart’s content; again the hostess was very attentive towards all the guests. We would come back to this hotel again.

Nothing. I can't fault the place and I hope to go back next time I am working near by.
The house was freshly renovated to a very high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was warm. The shower wasa great. The host was veyr helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.
