Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHotel was small with a very friendly staff that went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Food and service in restaraunt were excellent. Overall feel was warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay at Vordergrub again. On the moountain, stopping at the huts being from the USA was a great new experience. Food was great, huts were so charming and prices on the mountain were reasonable unlike USA. Rental of demo ski and locker at base of Hahnenkamm Gondola was incredibly easy.

United KingdomBreakfast next day was nice and the staff were very pleasant. Not terribly memorable.
Nice enough but the staff were about to leave when we arrived, even though it was only 5 pm. I asked for an extra blanket, which they got, but rather reluctantly. Room was nice enough but a bit small.

United StatesThe whole building reeked of cigarette smoke, someone was continually smoking inside. The stairways were so dark we had to use flashlights to walk up to the second floor. No one was available at the front desk ever. The wood floor caused splinters in our feet. Pillows were very flat and there wasn’t ever anyone at the desk to ask for additional pillows. A maintenance man walked into my room when my child was still asleep in bed- no one informed me, and he didn’t even knock. At check out time, someone appeared at the desk and was very unfriendly. Would not return.

SingaporeLighting in the room is too dim even with the bedside light on. It is very uncomfortable when you are in the room. TV is placed in such an awkward position, right on top of a small table. Room a bit small for such price. The flooring and the furniture have splinters. Both my kids and I got poked by them when we were walking in the room.
Breakfast was simple. We are happy with breakfast as it is convenient to have some warm food before you start a day in a snowy weather. It is not crowded at breakfast hall so my kids and I could spend some times slowly eating and chatting. Parking is convenient too, free and ample of space. Location is perfect, only 4km drive from Kidsbuhel, where my kids skied everyday. Within short driving distance there are supermarket and some small shopping outlet.

United KingdomBreakfast was poor. When you come downstairs at 9:15 with a family of 4 and you only find 3 bread rolls in a basket, that’s very disappointing. We had to ask constantly for more milk, even plates and cups! The breakfast waitress was miserable. The choice at the breakfast bar was very limited. Cold meat and cheese. Some jams and yoghurts. An old dry apple. Same unexciting fruit salad every day. The bedrooms are tiny with no where to sit apart from one wooden chair with a tiny table in a corner that has the TV right above it. Poor lighting in the rooms. Shower doors in one of our rooms were loose and only attached at the top. Showerheads need cleaning and taps were extremely difficult to adjust the temperature with as so old and “stuck”. When leaving the rooms you have to pull the doors shut which is very noisy during quiet times. My parents could hear the neighbour urinating and flushing the toilet next door. We were six and there was no where to play board games in the evenings other than in the restaurant in between dining guests! The playroom for kids was dull and had a football table in it, which you even had to pay for to play! No where to play for smaller kids. Dinners were very delicious but extremely overpriced. Glasses were dirty with lemon “bits” stuck to them from previous use. If the dishwasher won’t clean them please wash them by hand! It is very unappetising! The owners were very reserved, no chitchat or anything personalised despite having stayed there for 5 days and most evening meals. It’s a small hotel, I don’t actually think they knew our name. The owners do not turn up before 10:30, it is impossible to access the safe before that time, even when the heating was broken and there was no hot water for a shower in the mornings the owners were not in. When we left at 6am the entrance area was pitch black, my husband fell down the 2 steps by the front door carrying a suitcase! Overall the value for money was very poor and we would not return.
Location and the actual building were amazing. Very cozy restaurant area. Staff during our evening meals were friendly. The evening meals were very delicious. (Thankfully we arrived before fish week started with a limited menu). Easy drive to the Hahnenkammbahn. Hotel was in a lovely quiet location with plenty of parking.

Austriathe room has no enough light to read. only 1 ceiling light bulb and 1 small table lamp. 1 was not working. only 1 small soap is provided, no shower gel nor shampoo. towels are quite old towels. for this room rate, we expected a more comfortable living although the hotel is outdated.
the breakfast was Ok. although very basic BF the lady asked if we want eggs scrambled or fried and they prepared as we needed. location is Ok.

New ZealandBeds were uncomfortable and squeaked every time you turned over. Shower leaked. Mirror to high I could see myself at all. Picture in the wall clearly broken and if they had cleaned properly it should have noted and replaced.
Breakfast was boring after 4days. Location was 3 kms for centre.
