We absolutely loved our stay at Onkel Fritz. The host was very professional, kind and hospitable. We spent Christmas here, and we were given a free room upgrade and homemade treats. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh local products. All of our special requests were accommodated. The building has an old charm, not particularly modern but tastefully renovated and decorated. It is a very special place where we definitely recommend staying and would return here in the future. It also has an excellent location next to the train, and 3 minutes drive/10 minutes walk to ski lift.

This hotel is managed by its owner with extraordinary care. Everywhere we noticed a felt her lovely gentle touch. In the way she set up our room, in the way she prepared and served our breakfasts. In the way she cared about our overal satisfaction with our stay. We promised her to come back and we will definitely do so. The hotel has the soul of old times, yet is very well run and all is clean, functional, comfortable. The location is excellent. Just e few steps from train station. Directly in the small town in a quiet lane.With wonderful view of the surounding mountains.

Bathrooms could use a little renovation, but was not a problem at all.

Wonderful place, with friendly hosts and amazing breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the suits. Sauna is also available after skiing. The nearest parking for the slopes is really close to the location. Overall I would recommend it to everyone planning to stay for a few days for skiing, hiking etc. Breakfast is exceptional, and we also appreciated the aim for low waste and environmental friendly accomodation.

All good for the standard of hotel.

Breakfast was great with a lot of variety. I like that the sauna is reserved for a room so privacy is guaranteed. The couple who run the hotel are very hospitable and give the hotel a feeling of being home away from home.

The shower should get a bit of a renovation and the TV was a bit old and with a non original command. But you can live without a TV with such a landscape out of the window.

I did not expect the breakfast to be so complete and tasty, it surprised me. The rooms where very clean and ordered, you just got absorbed by the bed and the blanket was fluffy and very cozy.

It’s a pity, that notwithstanding the squeaky-clean rooms and bathroom, the cupboard has a bad smell so you don’t really have a place for your clothes. It might not be the fault of the service providers, but affects yr sense of comfort.

Fantastic location for hiking and excursions nearby, breath-taking view from the balcony; also optimal train connections. Magnificent home-made breakfast and charming, flexible staff.

Although very authentic, could have a few little updates here and there, only one pillow each and due to age can look dirty in places but this was more wear and tear. Could do with a bottle of water in room.

Location was good, just off the motorway, great fresh bread in the mornings and coffee. Nice and spacious suite, host was very welcoming and nice, made fresh eggs in the morning at your choice. Bar within the hotel, we didn't use it but looked a lovely place for an evening. Very quiet so slept all through the night every night.

I don't even know what to say, honestly :) Maybe parking? It's a bit hard to park, as there is place only on the side of the road. But still, we never had a problem with it, but I can see that some people might. Nothing else, we loved it.

It's such a magical place... This was the second time we have booked a room at this place, however because of a health emergency and surgery, my parents took over the booking, and they loved it even more than us. The hosts are amazing, breakfast has everything you would ever need and everything for a good price. We will be back again, that's for sure.
