The owners are super nice. The food was excellent and the breakfast above the top. They went out of their way to prepare me a breakfast to go because I left early. Great wine list as well. Great Romantic hide out.

There was not anything we did not like. Only maybe the windows might have been bigger for having much more fresh air and much more scenery.

Big enough room with a comfortable bed for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast and food service was at the possible highest quality. Kind and helpful staff made things sweet for us. The location is really great with beautiful nature around.

The beautiful and clean accommodation, location, environment, kind and helpful staff, the lake and the fish stand in front of the pension (I will remember my favorite fish and chips), breakfast, signs with inscriptions of peaks and cities on the doors from the rooms (we had our favorite Schafberg)

Due to the proximity of the main road, the accommodation is noisy with the window open.

Fantastic view from the room. Beautiful environment. Both breakfast and dinner are among the best I have ever experienced. Hiking and cycling opportunities are excellent. It was a special pleasure for me that the accommodation was not located in the city. The hosts were very nice and friendly.

We had many mosquitos in the room, so we couldn't open the windows at night and it was very warm inside.

The place is beautiful, very clean and the room is big and very comfortable. A small lake is just across the road and it was very refreshing to swim there in such a hot day. The breakfast was amazing!

It was very hot. There were no fans and the room was on the top floor. It was not possible to open the window because it was noisy and there were insects. We really couldn't sleep. They charged us 20 euros extra for beach towels

Nothing I can think of. They should keep up the great job they are doing and there will never have major issues with even the most demanding clients.

This is a family run business. The hotel/ restaurant is a very nice facility...spotless clean and with a very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast served is of high quality and with several tasty offerings. The dinners were prepared with homemade care, taste and great presentation. The rooms (stayed there a few times) are spotless clean and offer a nice chance to rest, read a book or just enjoy a great sleep. Bathroom was spacious and water pressure was great (something not usual for Austria).

Actually it’s home stay rather hotel, owners or staff of property stay in same building on first floor and guest accommodation are on 2nd floor. No lifts but manageable with stairs. Rooms are cozy but you have to ask for cleaning every time or day. There is restaurant and bar on ground floor with authentic Austrian food. Location is isolated to main towns nearly 15-20 km. Good for people who wants to stay in peace with very few house around.

I really enjoyed my stay at Landgasthof Batzenhäusl. The owners were super kind and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing — loved the quality and quantity, it really gave me energy for my adventures in this beautiful region. Great value for the price, I can recommend and would highly recommend this stay.
