How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewEverything was perfect. At check in, we were offered a welcome drink and a small gift for the baby, chocolates in the room. Parking was free. The room is big and confortable. They even put a crib, bottle warmer, diaper trash and some baby products, amazing!! The breakfast and dinner are excellent, gourmet level. We visited the kids play room with lots of toys. The salt water pool was heated and had amazing views. We will come back.
The bathroom doors are glass with curtains.

Verified reviewThe hotel is beautiful, with a stunning view and a lovely property. The pool was great, and the sauna was excellent. Breakfast was very delicious.
1. The staff could be a bit more welcoming. When we checked in, the front desk manager didn’t offer us a welcome drink, even though we saw it being offered to other guests — that didn’t feel nice. The only friendly person was the parking attendant who greeted us warmly. 2. The wooden floor on the balcony hasn’t been treated in a long time — it’s full of splinters. My two-year-old child, being very active, ended up with splinters in both his hands and feet. This resulted in sores and wounds. Since this is a family-friendly hotel, the wooden surfaces should be coated with protective varnish. I had previously read in reviews that guests often slipped near the pool, and I noticed that the hotel has now installed a great rubber mat there — well done! I kindly ask the hotel to also pay attention to the wooden flooring on the balconies to prevent similar issues with splinters.

Verified reviewThe food was definitely fabulous, a 10/10. Despite many families with children there was a sense of privacy. The pool was nice (a bit chilly, but for summer it's perfect) and the spa area lovely. Nice bath products available in the room. Super friendly staff and nice "activities"/events at the hotel.
The bathroom in our room smelled very bad the first night (coming out of the pipes) and the first day we didn't have hot water in our shower (luke warm at best), but that somehow got rectified from the second day on. Also, outdoor parking for 15€ per day is quite cheeky when they have nothing but space to accommodate parking for all guests.

We are glad to hear that the hot water issue was resolved from the second day onwards. Regarding the outdoor parking fee of €15 per day, we understand your feedback, especially considering the available space. A fee is charged for the parking lot in front of the hotel to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our parking lots. This is necessary so that we can always offer our guests a well-kept facility for their cars and motorcycles. Compared to other international hotels, our fee is very reasonable. We hope for your understanding in this matter. Despite these initial inconveniences, we are delighted that you had an overall positive experience. Verified reviewWe had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly caring and attentive throughout our visit. The cleanliness of both the rooms and the entire hotel was absolutely perfect. A special mention goes to the chef and his amazing dishes — during our one-week stay, the dinner menu never repeated once, which was truly impressive. Breakfasts were also excellent: in addition to the buffet, you could order from the menu. The Eggs Benedict on brioche and the fluffy pancakes with berries were unforgettable! Thank you for making our daughter’s birthday so special — we really appreciated the thoughtful gesture. Highly recommended!
