quite and clean

small/tiny beds, uncomfortable mattresses, small variety of breakfast items, very slow WiFi (<1Mbps)

Location was great close to Hallstat, the small village was nice as well. Rooms clean and quiet

No working coffee machine, nothing good to get when shops closed on Sunday. It's just for sleeping. Breakfast and checking very limiting.

Check in only from 16.30 until 18.00. Upon arrival at 17.00 there was nobody at the reception. There was no bell at the reception to call for an employee. I called the hotel 2 times by phone hoping somebody would show up. Eventually someone did... No apologies. The guests in the hotel were extremely loud and noisy until at least 23.00. Running, yelling all over. Around 6.00 in the morning the guests were again very noisy in their rooms and the hallway making sleeping impossible. When complaining about this the staff told me there is nobody in the hotel in the evening or night to see the hotels rules are lived up to. They told me the hotel wants to save money this way. It seems to me saving money is a main objective for the hotel management at the cost of the comfort of the guests. There was no wifi. The reason given was that the building was so old which ofcourse in nonsense. Breakfast was very poor. The hotel is expensive for what it offers.

The room was so hot it was difficult to sleep. Fan or air con needed during the summer months. 3 people in the room, 4 would be hotter

Location is good as the river so near and easy to access. The greenery, surrounding mountains and quiet environment was worth every bit of the stay.

Breakfast can have more variety from one day to another. Also, the items need to be replenished better for availability of everything for all the guests.

Rooms, breakfast, location etc. were quite good. Very good river view from the property as well. Right opposite to the hotel there is synthetic running track, so fitness is also taken care of. :)

There is no wi-fi available in rooms. Its only in lobby and public places. That's kind of bummer.

We got a apartment in ground floor its very cold even during summer due to the rains, we couldn't walk on the floor. We have busses every one hour from hallstatt but not after 6PM. As its far from hallstatt we cant go by walk. Taxi is also not available.

The Location to the town

The room had some mold. No TV. No mosquito protection if window were open (when too hot) Super poor breakfast and not TV or internet in the bedroom.
