This hotel is the best it is very quiet up there and the view is stunning. You wake up every morning, looking to the lake to the mountain, enjoying the nature and the stuff of the hotel. They are very, very nice people we felt like home. I will say this is the best choice we doneand I hopefully will repeat it in the future.

The room is a bit expensive but i guess that the whole area is quite expensive too during summer.

I only wish there was AC, but this depends on when you visit.

The worst thing about my stay here was that it ended. Really great staff, good food and most certainly amazing view! We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with two balconies. I spent the first day just staying at the hotel and admiring the view from our apartment and the restaurant as well. Definitely would book here again. Thank you Abo Tony and everyone!

Nice and quiet rooms with Amazing view over the lake from your own balcony, the breakfast is amazing with a variety of treat to chose from, including their homemade jam.

The only notable shortcoming was the absence of a bidet in the bathroom, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

We had a fabulous stay for our skiing holiday and would highly recommend to stay here. The room was very comfortable and the property is very warm and cosy. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast in the morning was very nice. We also had a brilliant meal in the restaurant too. We hope to return again!

The bathroom was a little small and its not like in the town which can be a downfall if you like to be close to the hip and happening areas

It was the ultimate hide away from the world for a weekend. Felt romantic and tranquil. Food at the resturant was beyond expectations so we left the lodge very little. If we needed to get out, the little town is very close but you would need a car. It was very comofrtable for a short break away

Everything was beautiful and comfortable, the view is one of the most wonderful views overlooking the lake, the breakfast is delicious and wonderful with the beautiful view, the cleanliness is excellent, I thank the hosts for their good treatment.

If we remember correctly no air-conditioning which could be a bit of a problem during hot days. Oh and a second thing, but not really something the owners can do about - the beautiful sea view has one negative, you are quite high above the sea and walking from the city is not for everyone :)

Jausenstation Pfefferbauer is a place to fall in love with: The view of the Zeller sea is magical. The staff is very friendly. The rooms, maybe basic for some guests, are clean and with a balcony to enjoy the view. There is also a very good restaurant downstairs open in the evenings (just remember it is not open every day). You have also a free place to park your car. The breakfast. although a bit basic, was very tasty and plentiful. You get a "Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card" which allows you to enjoy a lot of things for free or with a discount (cable cars, boar trips, buses etc.).

Wonderful quiet location above the hustle and bustle of Zell am See but only a couple of minutes by car into the town. Fabulous views overlooking the lake and mountains. Monica, Tony and all the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. A great family-run establishment. Very enjoyable stay.

No washing machine, nor paid option to wash clothes, which is quite strange for quite an expensive property in a family-friendly skiing resort. Wi-Fi is poor. The communication prior to the arrival was vague, misleading and unpleasant - I wanted to confirm if the sofa can be turned into a bed (from the photo it was not clear) and had to ask the same question in 8(!!!) different formulations - they really did not want to understand my need. In reality it is a normal sofa-bed with pillows and blankets, so the apartment could easily accommodate 4 people who need separate beds.

The apartment was warm, spacious and clean, wooden heated floor, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, equipped kitchen. There is a warm ski/boot drying room in the property. Gorgeous view to the lake from outside. It is important to note, though, that the property is very high up and only accessible by car, so taking a ski-bus, or going out in the evening is complicated.

It was an excellent vacation. The view from the apartment, the service, the breakfast and dinners were really exceeding all expectations. It is really worth to be there. We plan to be there again if possible.
