The sound of the river was soothing and the views were amazing. The host was attentive and funny. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Parking for the motorcycles was great.

We recently stayed a week at Hupfmuhle Pension. What a great experience! The location is beautiful with water on either side of the location. So peaceful! Amazing breakfast is available. Gracious host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Helmut could not do enough for us. Superb Breakfast and lovely room with balcony and great view down the valley towards the lake. He told us of the good restaurants and the best way to walk back up the hill from St Wolfgang to hotel. We are in our mid 70s and found this route a lot easier than the steep walk up the road. In the evening after our meal, Helmut did offer a taxi service in his golf buggy (for a small fee) back from St Wolfgang up to the Hotel. This was greatly appreciated.

It's a stunning location nestled in a small valley, 10 mins walk (uphill) from town. My room faced onto a river which was very peaceful! The owners are friendly and the breakfast is great.

Well, there was nothing bad about it. Maybe just the fact that we had to come home… :)

The accommodation was simply fantastic. The host was very kind and helpful, the room was perfect, and a stream flowed right beside our bed, just behind the soundproof windows. There’s no need to say anything about the area—it’s absolutely amazing. This is something you simply have to see for yourself. Both the accommodation and the surroundings. Thank you so much for everything—we’ll be back soon! :)

The location was amazing, very close to the center and next to a waterfall. The road to the pension was quite steep, so during winter chains are necessary.

It was a bit steep on the way from the center to the accommodation but it was not that bad.. anyway it was very near to the center

The host was very nice and friendly. He was communicative and gave us nice tips for our stay. The breakfast was very good food with the best quality.

Amazing family!! We had an awesome stay and the host was so helpful! Room was clean, comfortable and the sound of the waterfall outside our room was so tranquill. I would highly recommend this location. Breakfast on the patio each morning was awesome!!

For elderly people who don’t drive would be difficult to climb up to the hotel. Please don’t hesitate to inform the owner, he will come to pick you up

The location of this hotel is just next to the stream, fresh air the nature vibe is the main attraction. The owner of the hotel is very nice and decent. Living here you can be very relaxed and enjoy the surroundings of the hiking trails.

The hosts were amazing, they were ready to listen to any queries and helped us for everything. Christine and Helmut were very friendly. The apartment was huge and more than accommodating for our family of 5. The view was impeccable. Our apartment overlooked a bubbling brook and we could hear the water running all day. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Every thing!! The house owner (who doesn’t like wear shoes:))is very very kind and helpful!! The house is beautiful which is beside a waterfall (no need to worry any noise), and room is clean, cozy and lovely. We also like the breakfast very much. St. Wolfgang is wonderful, we well definitely go back again!!
