Reviews of Mama Muh Self-Check-in

Our check in was quick and easy. However I noticed that for other guests it was not so. At least 3 that were there the same day had issues with their cards of some sorts. The location was close to "everything" you might need. Bakery for breakfast and various places to eat were right around the corner. Bike storage was limited but enough. I think that there were ca. 9 bikes that evening.

The hotel is very noisy - both from the street and inside. I ended up getting up around 9:30 pm to "explain" to a family with 2 small kids that I did not appreciate their youngest running up and down the hall screaming - that there were actually people there trying to rest. Sadly they were one of the parties that were having issues with their keycard. I know very well that traveling with small kids is difficult and it was late and they were tired. This comment is more to give an idea of how loud the place might be. People moving around on upper floor were also very easy to hear. The rooms were very basic in terms of furniture, not very coordinated and my kids like to compare it to a dorm room.

The room and the bathroom was clean. The location was good as it was in very close to the city center. The self-check-in was simple and easy to do also.

A minor thing is the sound of traffic outside.

The terace was perfect in summertime because only there was cool place

Hot room, hard to sleep with open windows

Good location - relatively close to the main central station (around 2km away)- and at a walking distance to the city center and the river. Is close to supermarket (Lidl), McDonald's, and asian food restaurants and bars. The self check in and check out worked perfectly - I did them online - and the room was tidy and had a very comfortable bed (very soft mattress). TV, wifi, towels, hairdryer all working good

If you cannot sleep with noise, than it's a deal breaker. The acoustic isolation to the interior and exterior of the building is bad. My room was facing the street, so until 2-3am it was possible to listen (even with closed windows) the people laughing and having a good time. It was also possible to hear every person that entered the hostel, due to talking and doors banging.

very difficult check-in system (we were trying to check in for more than half hour) and the price was too high for what we got. Even in Vienna there are cheaper places with better rooms

The location is great, in the old city, close to the main square and attraction, restaurants and cafes. Everything was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were too soft. Good price to quality ratio.

The check-in process was awful, it is at a machine at the entrance that at first they did not find our reservation because we did not understand what booking number they were asking for, then the card generator did not work. After 20 minutes we called and they gave ud the codes to enter the hotel and the room. They should keep everything just at codes.

We liked the central location, possibility of self checking in and out. We also had a place to store our bicycles. More so, it’s close to the train station.

Some things were broken, such as the fan and the shower glass that was cracked. There was no AC, but if the fan were working it would not be a problem.
