We had four adults in a suite, with two sleeping areas. There was a small fridge in the suite; fans were there for both sleeping areas and it stayed cool. Everything was very clean, and the staff was wonderful! Breakfast was in a pleasant area and provided lots of choice. Public transportation was so close, frequent, and reliable to and from this hotel - we planned to walk, but always caught a bus (the modest fare for which was included in the tax, I believe). It was so easy to get to both the old town and the airport.

Hot. The temperature outside was high when we stayed. The temperature inside was not bearable. There are fans, but that doesn't help much.

Good beds. The size of the room was great. Good breakfast. We got OV tickets provided by the hotel, great! Location is good, within minutes in the town centre.

There is no fridge in the room and in case of high temperatures, the AC would be nice to have in the room.

The location of the hotel is ideal for visitors of Salzburg since the Old city centre is only 10-15 min reachable by foot. The area is quiet and the first grocery shop is only 30 m away. The breakfast is good and fresh fruits and vegetables are avaliable as well. The receptionists were nice and very heplful with additional information regarding the city.

We were satisfied with our stay at Hotel Astoria in Salzburg. The hotel has a great location and we easily found a convenient parking spot, which we really appreciated. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and varied – there was something for everyone. Overall, a pleasant stay that we would gladly recommend.

We forgot some document at the table in our room and they did not save it. Our mistake of course, but I expected that they will keep it and 3-4h after we left I ask but but it was already in the trash. I did not like the smell of garlic all over the ground floor.

No wifi on the upper floor, no kettle / cups in the family room, no A/C

We stayed here twice. First time we were upgraded to a suit, for that I would like to thank the management very much :) the suit was great, large room with a comfy bed, a stand-alone bath, large shower and a minibar. 2nd time we were staying in a family room, that one was rather small and stuffy due to 2 small windows (not full size) and the wifi was not working on the upper floor. Also a kettle + cups would be great to have in a family room. Breakfast was great both times. Staff was friendly, location close to the city center and you can also get a free transportation ticket from the reception.

The location of the hotel is great. Well connected by public transport to various places, but also not far from city centre by foot. It has its own parking which is paid per day of your stay. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast has good variety and everything was tasty.
