Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We enjoyed our stay in Holiday Inn very much! A cozy, well designed hotel. We were welcomed very warmly upon our arrival after 10 pm by a young guy (I am sorry I did not remember his name) and he was very polite and hearty. He gave us a precious piece of advice about the pubs nearby. The room was big enough, very clean, very quiet and surprisingly cool when it was about 35 degrees outside even though we did not use the air conditioning. We highly appreciated their green policy regarding room cleaning! Plus fresh tap water from the Alps and morning coffee. It is very close to the city centre and all the major museums and sights to visit, we only walked on foot (about 20 minutes to the Opera). This is the place where we will stay next time when we go to Vienna :)

IsraelThe location is not very central, most restaurants and cafes close early in the evening, so there aren't many options for going out at night. There's an electric kettle and tea/coffee in the room, but no milk pods, so we had to get our coffee outside. One of the beds had a somewhat lopsided mattress, not so comfortable.
The room was air conditioned and spacious, the staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations for dining and what there is to see in the area. After check out we could put our luggage in storage and go rent a car. There is a short term parking bay right at the door, which makes for easy loading and unloading, very helpful.

SpainQuiet position very close to the center of the city (by walk), very welcoming and nice staff that helped me with every details with kindness and a smile. My room booked online was close to the inner garden (beautiful and chilling space inside the hotel) very nice, but I was looking for something quieter, and they arrange me on a same category, a beautiful 7th-floor single cozy room with stunning view over the neighbourhood roofs. All the staff and especially Elisabeth, Scarlet and Robin at front reception, made my stay excellent with an outstanding hospitality. The breakfast was not included, but when I saw the delicious, fresh and quality food they were serving for just €17 (29-07-20025), I decided to have it every day since. That was a huge deal, compared with the prices you can find around the city (random bar Cappuccino + plain croissant = around €6). A huge deal if you consider the comfort and the excellent staff attending your stay and needs.

we have stayed at this hotel before. The staff are really wonderful, helpful, happy to greet on arrival. A little info if one arrives by train.... the 13a bus from the Hauptbahnhof stops almost outside 3min walk. A visit to the Vienna woods is a must, ask the Lady in reception. check the Restaurant and Bar area, so trendy, love all the stripes.

IsraelAll was great instead of one thing: the garden room with the windows to the garden is very nice, but in the evening people sitting and smoke there, close to the windows, so the room is full of the smell of cigarettes. Morning is also not so quite - the staff is cleaning the outside tables...near the windows. I understand, that's the necessary procedure and it's just OK. But a little noisy. :)
Very nice hotel, I'll say in good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big, silent, nice and clean garden room with all the facilities. Rich European breakfast, wide choice of dishes and drinks.
