A lovely room with a gorgeous view. The guesthouse is handy for the funicular to the high valley, and a short flat walk from the ferry across the lake to the station. The breakfast was great, and the hosts were very welcoming.

I had a great stay at this Haus Trausner. The room was large and comfortable, the owner was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, everything was clean, and the wife worked well. The location is good as everything in the town is just a short walk away.

The host was very kind and accommodating. They served a very great breakfast and gave me ticket to avail discount on different stores and activities around Halstatt. Few minutes walk around the views. Also there are local restaurants and grocery near the location. The view I’ve got is wonderful.

We like everything about this accommodation. It is very close to the bus stop and Hallstatt attractions. We stayed for 3N and are always looking forward to the breakfast the host provides. Maria is a very nice person she is very clean too. The place is very homey we can see the alphine fr our room window. We had a very relaxing stay. The room was warm and cozy.

We stayed for 3 nights here. 1. Very convenient as it’s near all the tourist attractions and bus stops. 2. We always look forward to the breakfast that was prepared by the host because it’s really good and it feels like home. 3. Clean and comfortable room. Just like a hotel. 11/10 4. Our stay at Haus Tausner was wonderful. Maria's warm personality made us feel at home, making her the best host. We loved the quietness, cleanliness, and amazing breakfasts in the sunny garden. Everything was perfect!

We stayed 2 nights in room 2, overlooking the garden and the beautiful mountains and had a great stay. Haus Rautner is a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry stop through town and 2-5 minutes away from the bus station, the shop and the cable car to the salt mine. The room was spacious, warm and really clean and the bed was comfy. Maria, the host, is really friendly and lovely and she makes an amazing breakfast, which she brought to our room every morning. We had a private bathroom, which was very clean. It is really quiet and peaceful so we had a very restful sleep and a great time exploring Hallstatt. We would definitely recommend Haus Trausner and would love to come back.

Haus Trausner was an amazing stay. It was close to the town and very accessible. The room was exceptionally clean and cosy with beautiful views. The host Maria was extremely friendly and helpful. Her hospitality warms our hearts. The breakfast she provides is delicious and more than we could eat. We definitely recommend Haus Trausner as a must stay in Hallstatt!
