My wife and I were very lucky. We could book this place for one night becuase other guest postponed to stay here for that day. We are very appreciated all acommodation and services. Owners, Jane and Mark were so kind and friendly We will be back to stay here.

The breakfast was delicious with a variety of food. I especially liked the coffee machine with the variety of choices. The view was amazing and the owners were so helpful with suggestions on what to do. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I would improve is to add small lights to illuminate the path from the parking area to the entrance door.

Breakfast was varied and very tasty, with a different homemade cake each day. There was a wide selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and pastries. There is a dining room on site where you can sit in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea at no extra charge. The view from the room was simply breathtaking — the lake in all its glory, visible both from the window and from the huge balcony outside the room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh, and there were also high-quality, pleasant soaps provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and even helped us with local discounts. Don’t forget to ask for a guest card to get a discount on the Dachstein cable car.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house in Obertraun. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with so much attention to detail that made our stay special. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great tips for exploring the area. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we woke up each morning to breathtaking views of the mountains. It was the perfect base for discovering Hallstatt and the beautiful surroundings. We truly didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Pension/corridors/rooms were very clean. Apartmens are location ten minutes drive by car to parking in Hallstatt or fifteen minutes walk to lake in Obertraun. Breakfast was very good, rolls were fresh, everthings was enough for us. Mark is fantastic host, friendly and helpful.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Everything exceeded my expectations. Frank is a wonderful host who was always ready to help and made us feel at home. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which offered plenty of options to keep us satisfied, and the coffee was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was better than expected :) The owner, Mark was a lovely host - he is a very kind human being! He gave us recommendations and information for all questions we had. The free cookies, tea, coffee a.o. are for free - I think this is very nice. Breakfast was very good. The room and bed were sooo cozy - perfect.

The accomodation is excellent. The host is lovely and very helpful, the breakfast is delicious. The decoration was warming and even better than on the pictures. During our stay we have already decided to return sometime.

I’m really glad We chose this side of the lake instead of the crowded Hallstatt. Mark is genuinely a kind person, and it’s clear that his hospitality isn’t just because we were paying guests. The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding, featuring homemade sweets and bread. 10/10!

Loved everything

A lovely property and excellent location to visit Hallstatt and surrounding areas. Mark and his wife were very hospitable and everything was well presented. Private parking was convenient and the views of the lake and surrounding mountains were amazing. Unfortunately we got the side room with partial views but thats because it was a last minute booking. Next time will book the lake facing rooms with a balcony
