How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewIt was super clean, the room was spacious, big nice bathroom, breakfast was fantastic, incl the effort they made for my gluten free eating friend. The free use of the ski deposits was the best and the opportunity to have a last shower after check out. Totally amazing customer service
Nothing

Verified reviewGreat value , clean, friendly staff.
The walls are thin so quiet hours mean don’t speak loudly or in a normal voice in the room or hallway. I was asked by other guests to stop talking within my room because they could hear conversations.
Dear Brianna, Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you found the hotel clean, offering great value, and enjoyed your stay. We hope to welcome you again soon! Family Kirchler

Verified reviewModern and comfortable room, despite being a single room. Nice little balcony area with a reasonable view the mountains. All very clean. Lots of shelves and hooks to hang and store things. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
A bit of a walk up the hill from town, but that’s about all I can complain about.

Verified review✅ Rooms and amenities feel new ✅ Hot breakfast with decent variety and high quality ingredients ✅ Off-site ski/boot lockers at the base of the gondola included with your stay ✅ Good location within the town ✅ Free parking right in front of the hotel
Not a factor for us, but if you drive a large car or the conditions are icy, the last 100m of the drive up to the property may be difficult. To mitigate this, I’m told they have offsite parking at the bottom of the hill!

Verified reviewA super cozy, quiet gem of “bed and breakfast” in St. Anton. The most service minded owners/staff we’ve ever come across! Great location with only 3 minutes walk away from the hustle and bustle. Very nice breakfast with a wide variety of hearty food. Superb ski storage. Spacious rooms.
Nothing at all!

Verified reviewExcellent breakfast buffet at the right time. Freshly cooked egg choice served by the proprietor and spacious breakfast room in which to linger for an extra Semmel if you fancied one. Having a superb Schindler lift made things a lot easier, as we were on the 3rd floor. Access to building and rooms were with keyless cards, which worked really well. Our room had a great balcony with a lovely view over the town. A tree is growing in just the wrong place, however, so this might not last forever. Arriving late Sunday evening, we got a takeaway Pizza from Florians a few yards down the hill and ate it on the balcony as thunder and lightning broke out in the sky above.
Finding the building was pretty difficult! Despite signs on the road below it, we missed it as we searched, and eventually found it up a VERY narrow and difficult squeeze between other properties. Parking was a problem for the hotel, as there just isn't enough space, unless there are very few guests with cars. We were lucky in this respect, and even got the car under the eaves of the building in case we got hit by the giant hailstorms prevalent in the alps this summer. There wouldn't have been room for another car under the building, and even turning one's car around to exit would not be straightforward with 2 extra guest-vehicles.

Verified reviewLocation is good, especially if you take the ski depot service (free) which is right next to the main lift. Its ~300 meters from the lifts BUT walking without your equipment is actually nice because you warm up in the morning and starch in the afternoon. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice and nice dinning room. Stuff are very helpful and friendly. There is a place to park your car just next to the house (road is narrow) or at the underground parking ~100 m form the house. Rooms are extra clean and the whole place looks new.

Verified reviewAccommodation was very clean and extremely well managed. Facilities were very nice as well, especially the sauna which I used a couple of times. Breakfast was sufficient and well presented, including pretty decent coffee.
Was getting a bit of weird vibe from the hosts. Tried to be friendly and chat them up a few times but felt like I was getting a bit of a cold shoulder even tho their english was perfect and they seemed quite friendly with other German speaking guests. Not sure what was that about but I can't fault their professionalism and they met all my expectations in terms of sorting stuff out so not a huge complaint. Walking up that hill every time to get back to the room was a bit of a nuisance but, on the flip side, had a nice view of the town from my window so again, not a deal breaker really.

Verified reviewHotel generally very clean Sauna and relaxation area is nice and well kept Ski storage right by Galzigbahn is very convenient (hotel is up a hill which you wouldn't want to carry equipment up every day) Good breakfast, continental with bacon and eggs
From the train station we asked a taxi driver to take us but he wouldn't because of the hill. It wasn't too bad on foot, and this isn't the properties fault at all
