Perfect location. Small, but very nice bathroom. Comfortable bed. Free parking.

We booked this lovely holiday home for the first two nights of our longer vacation and road trip. Please note that check-in is only available until 9 PM, even though the booking platform states it's possible until 10 PM. As we were still on our way and couldn’t arrive by 9, I called the reception. The staff was very kind and accommodating, waiting for us until 10 PM so we could check in. We were traveling by car, and there was plenty of parking available in front of the chalet. The area offers many opportunities for walking and hiking. On our second day, we visited the Sigmund Thun Klamm. It was a really beautiful experience, the walk through the gorge featured stunning waterfalls and charming wooden bridges. Although there is a small entrance fee, we found it worthwhile and were happy to contribute to the maintenance of such a beautiful site. I can imagine it’s also magical at night, as they offer evening visits. Later, we walked around the lakes and had lunch at Almwirtschaft Schneckenreith, where we enjoyed delicious, locally made food at a reasonable price. The area seems well-suited for longer or more demanding hikes as well. It might even be possible to explore the higher parts of the Alps, as there’s a cable car network going up to the Kitzsteinhorn Panorama. We also visited Zell am See by car, it’s not far, and had the chance to see the singing fountain show. Right in front of the chalet, there’s a small open sports park with various activities. There’s even a climbing boulder wall, which was a great surprise, especially since I had my climbing shoes and chalk with me. You can also play football and volleyball. Overall, our room had everything we needed, and the setup was very charming. A great start to our trip.

Now for the downsides, the room we had was quite dark. It’s not a huge issue, but something to be aware of. Since there’s another building directly next to it, there isn’t much of a view, mostly just a view into another guest’s room in the neighboring chalet. We did have access to a shared balcony, which we didn’t use, but it was still nice to have as an option. Despite the lack of natural light, the room had plenty of artificial lighting, so it was easy to function comfortably. And actually, because it was darker and we were visiting in the summer, the room stayed pleasantly cool, which turned out to be a real plus.

The property was very noisy as the rooms were too close to eschother. There are no facilities at all, so if it is a rainy day, you don’t have a well equipped tv in your room either or any other facilities.

The room and bathroom look freshly renovated. There was a balcony with a nice view.

There was literally trash on the floor when we moved in and lip marks on the glass in the room. The pillows were too thin which made it hard to sleep.

One of the most wonderful and peaceful places in Kaprun. It offers true relaxation and is far from the city noise. Its quiet location surrounded by beautiful nature gives you privacy and serenity. I truly enjoyed the natural setting and the calm atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond both on Booking.com and at check-in. It’s definitely worth a visit. As a traveler, I love sharing my experiences, and I’ve recommended this place to my followers because I believe it’s a great choice for anyone seeking tranquility and nature.

It‘d be more comfortable if the rooms were daily cleaned. The floor was dirty, not even mopped, when we first came in! Space was a small comparing to price.

Very small room and bathroom but good for one or two nights

Location of the Property.

No room.cleaning service or at least enough availability of toilet rolls. There is no wash basin in the toilet. Linen had hairs of previous guests.

It was clean and the location was perfect. Great value for the money.

We didn’t have mini fridge. In the morning, 6am I could hear people running in front of our room and I couldn’t sleep well.

Location It was just for one night and it was really last minute booking. We are coming back next winter :)
