Beautifully appointed apartment with superb views to the mountains. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and happy to help. Obertraun is peaceful and relaxing with a good bus service into Hallstatt ( very busy so go early morning). The Dachstein cable car is also nearby for amazing views and walks.

The house was very clean. It had all we needed although our stay was very short. The owner was very kind and helpful. The house is very close to the lake. The view is superb. Beautiful to wake up with that sight!

Nothing, we loved it here. We love quiet and nature and Haus 66 and Obertraun met our needs perfectly.

Johann and Gerda were the most wonderful hosts, making us so welcome and giving us so much local knowledge. The apartment is really clean, comfortable and has everything you need. We had originally planned on staying in Halstaat and we're SO glad we chose Obertraun, quiet, beautiful and with everything we needed close by. Would love to return in other seasons of the year.

We loved everything about this place. The rooms are cozy, with a lot of light, well equipped, comfy beds and couch, big bathroom and of course THE VIEW. In kitchen you have salt, pepper, teas, coffee, a lot cups and plates. Small, very beautiful details, i loved the curtains and how the mountains were visible from every room. Gerda & Johann, the hosts are very kind, sweet and helpful. We enjoyed a very good coffee and cakes, thank you very much for that! The village is so beautiful and charming, we will definitely come back again here.

Han’s and Greda met us upon arrival with the keys and wonderful ideas and activities. They also loaned us a couple bikes so we could get around easily. Gave us directions to ride near the Traun River, hiking/running trails, and must sees in the area! Can’t recommend enough!

Great place ideal for bike trips and trips to the mountains (cable car within walking distance). Sufficiently large rooms, cleanliness, good equipment (kitchen, dishes, etc.), parking, place to store bicycles. Close to bakery and grocery store. Very helpful and hospitable owners.

A beautiful house and super clean. The kitchen has got all the amenities, utensils and tea/coffee. Clean towels and toiletries were provided. The hosts were so welcoming and gave us all necessary information for our 2 days in Hallstatt.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Checking in was easy. The apartment is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The best bed we've had in a European hotel or rental. The apartment's location is in a very quiet centrally located area. Close to train stop or parking on site. Highly recommend staying here.

A lovely house at a very good location in Obertraun. Convenient to the train station and town centre. Great views overlooking 5 fingers and Dachstein mountains. We enjoyed our stay at House 66. Both Gerda and Hans are wonderful and very hospitable hosts. They gave useful information, suggestions and where to get it. When we got back after the day of sightseeing, they were sitting in the garden and they offered us tea and coffee. On my birthday they had a surprise birthday cake and chocolate for me. Highly recommended.

The location of this house is precious. The fact that you can get a glimpse of the lovely alps from your window while sipping the morning coffee would be something extremely appealing to anyone, I believe. The house was so beautiful with a personal touch everywhere. The decor was simple and very nice. The rooms were super clean. The kitchen has got all the amenities, utensils and never-ending supplies of tea/coffee. The toiletries and towels were provided in abundance. And lastly, the hosts were so warm & welcoming! Their hospitality is out of the world. This is the place to stay in Obertraun without any second thought!

It was a really pleasant stay. The owners of the house are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They gave us valuable advice on our trips, about the city and surroundings. There is a possibility to borrow bikes, that helped us reach further places. The apartment was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was also well equipped. The apartment offers breathtaking views from the windows. There is also a very nice garden to relax in. We enjoyed our stay in Haus 66 a lot. Thank you!

Responsive and helpful host. They allowed us to check in earlier and leave our bag after checking out. The house is well equipped with everything that you need (and they even provided fresh milk). 4-6min walk to bus stop/train station. 10min walk to boat ride.

The hosts were the most outstanding we have encountered with communication, service and accomodation. They could not have been more helpful and kind- sharing their bikes, local knowledge and venue- even offering to help us with transport. The apartment was extremely spacious, perfectly presented and comfortable in all aspects. I would highly recommend this accomodation.
