Just something small. The sound proofing of the floor is not great, so if a person is heavy on the steps it can cause noises. But thankfully this only happens in the day.

The house is beautiful. True to picture, so is the room. The way to checkin and to enter the house/room is easy and modern. You do not have to worry about bringing any keys, you just need to remember a code. That’s it. They also have a mini kitchen/pantry that is shared with other guests but it is kept very clean and neat. You also do not have to worry that your room is not ventilated if you do not prefer opening the windows because they provide electric fan! Though not needed, and the host have explained themselves, they still made the effort to meet me in person to say hi and to welcome me to the guesthouse. She rest assured that I could treat myself as though I am at home, which was very very nice of her Just outside/opposite the guesthouse, if you are lucky, you could spot cows in the morning/afternoon snacking away on the grass patch of the neighbours’ around. Wifi works well, stable and reliable. The guesthouse is some 3-5 minutes walk to one attraction i.e saltmine/funicular ticket shop, which is also near where you would then queue and board the funicular up the mountains/hill to then head to saltmine and skywalk. Then from the guesthouse, probably 8-10 minutes walk, there is a small supermarket and Hallstatt bus terminal already. And the market square where you roam around the town is just to the left side of the terminal. I like that the guesthouse is situated away from the crowd yet accessible everywhere easily! They have their own hammock that you can relax in. They will set up when the weather is good. Also a sofa area for sitting/reading outside as well. Some 2.5km walk behind, along the Echerntalweg, you could also do a little hike to the Wasserfall.

The apartment is exceptional. Newly renovated, modern design and very neat and clean. Super comfortable and cosy bedding. The bathroom was big. The kitchen had everything required for cooking. All tiny details were very well taken care of. The location is fantastic.. 3 min walk and you enter the town. Special mention to Daniela, who was really helpful and prompt in responding. It's on the second floor. So people with babies and disabilities may have an issue. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Hallstatt.

The fact that we didn't book it for more nights!

We were received with a very warm welcome, our hostess, Daniela, provided us with thorough instruction about the apartment. She even took time to answer our questions and recommended great places to eat and do groceries at. The area comes equipped with 2 very lovable dogs, make sure to give them some love when you're there! The younger dog loves to play, and the older one, she's very soft in her behaviour. Both are very sweet and family friendly! During one of the days, there were some issues with the water supply, and Daniela made sure everyone was well-informed and provided bottled water to the residents. During our second day I proposed to my (now) fiancé, when Daniela took notice, she was very excited for us and offered us some drinks, which was very sweet of her! On our last night, I was struggling planning the itinerary back out of Hallstatt, but once again Daniela took the time to explain the timetable of the ferry and told us which one we should get. Thank you for making this stay so much better than it should have been!

New building and also very cosy with everything you need. Away from the crowds of Hallstatt but next to center. Beautiful outside area to have your coffee and relax, while watching the landscapes and the nice neighbourhood. Daniela and Gena (her dog) was perfect hostesses!!!

Host was so lovely and friendly. Awesome fully equipped shared kitchen with everything you need for cooking your own meals. Great outdoor lounge area. Everything was super clean and tidy and the room was very comfortable. Codes for accessing the doors was great as you didn’t have to bring a key with you. 15 minutes walk to the centre of town. Small touches like the little biscuit/chocolate snacks were a really nice addition. Under-bed luggage storage was also a nice touch to keep the room tidy.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, modern, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The terrace was lovely, and the outdoor area — especially the hammock — added an extra touch of relaxation. The views were simply breathtaking. A very special thanks goes to the host. The property is brand new. It was very tastefully decorated and very clean. It has a common kitchen a big front yard. Be mindful the property is not on water. Dani was very helpful and great communicator. View from the windows are straight gaze into the mountains.

There was only a fan, so it might get hot on Summer nights. The weather was pretty nice when I went, so I can't comment on that.

Everything was renovated and new! Location was good too. They also allowed me to keep my luggage after I checked out. Internet was also blazing fast, I believe download speed was around 200mb or so. Appreciated self-check in as well. Seemed like there was a shared kitchen, but I stayed only for a day so didn't use it.

I love the location so much, 3min walk away from the salt mine (Must Go) and just next to a huge parking place. It is surrounded by beautiful mountain view and the village nearby is explorable with church and waterfall. Supermarket is also within walking distance. Although it is 15min walk from main boat station, with my 15kg backpacks, it is still a nice walk for me. It is newly renovated with cozy, clean and adequately furnished room. There is kitchen for simple food preparation (no heavy cooking if recall correctly), milk and cookies are free. Most of all, the guesthouse owner is friendly and helpful. It was summer (mid July), the guesthouse owner was accommodating to provide a fan per my request, those few days ended up cooling with rains, I was using it for ventilation purpose mostly. There is a also a small courtyard for hang out with other guests.

The place is located in a perfect place, both not far from the most essential places like bus stops and a supermarket, and at the same time on a quiet pastoral street in a beautiful valley. The hosts are wonderful people who made the stay enjoyable, especially the hostess whose recommendations on hiking trails were very helpful. The room and the guest house itself are new, clean and tidy. I would definitely come again.

There is nothing that I didn’t like.

The location is fantastic. It is close to the downtown, but you can easily walk back during the busiest periods, thus being able to enjoy Hallstatt at your leisure. The clean design lines make it an attractive, modern unit, within a structure that fits the overall look and feel of a mountain home. Dani, the host, is super-responsive to any questions or needs. I would stay again!
