We found the room's musty odor to be quite unpleasant. The manager did not seem pleased when we brought this to their attention.

The location was somewhat remote. Fortunately, a bus stop near the hotel provides transportation to the city center, which is free with the Innsbruck card and runs every hour. The breakfast was enjoyable, and Christian, who served us, was very friendly. Additionally, the lady in charge of housekeeping was wonderful.

We liked everything. Maybe an electric water kettle in the room would have been great. Just for convenience. It is not necessary though. And this does not have any negative impression about the hotel, facilities, and our experience.

Our first room had bed bugs. Not a reflection on their cleanliness just unfortunate and they moved us instantly and washed our cloths for us. Perfect service. Also the bathroom is a little small (one of those pre-made caravan ones) which detracts from the rustic charm a bit.

The hotel was very suited to the countryside but it looked tired compared to other places. Although this added to the experience.

I didnt realise that we had the breakfast included, which was a nice surprise. It did not disappoint and matched many of the fantastic Austrian breakfasts i had had many years before. Although the location was slightly out of the city, this is what we wanted, to live amongst the hillside. Access roads were good and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel. With the free bus transport included in the local tourist tax, it made life very easy to head into Innsbruck and enjoy the Christmas Markets and Glüwein without worrying about parking and driving home.

The rooms and bathroom could use an update as they don't have the authentic feeling the rest of the hotel has.

The fact that kitchen close at 20:00 ,can be a bit more late like around 22:00 .

Pillows were not comfortable, toilet ventilation doesn’t work, there is no boiler in the room. I don’t know if it is good thing or bad but dining room were so quiet, it felt weird though :) .

Due to the old fashioned layout of the hotel you do tend to know when the kitchen is operating - just makes you hungry! and choose your room carefully!

Location of hotel is great - bus stops right outside the door and buses going into Innsbruck stop at the cable car just down the road (not on the way back). Bus goes to and from the railway station too. 20 minutes max into Innsbruck, and free if you qualify for the Visitors Card. Great views and if the weather is good wonderful terrace outside to enjoy the great food. This is an old fashioned hotel - some might say quirky - which we loved. If you want Holiday Inn style facilities this is not the place for you! The staff were all great and the food was really good - perhaps could complain that too much sometimes! We found the morning breakfast buffet was fresh and very adequate for us.

This place is fascination, there are so many interesting things throughout the property that you could spend all day just exploring them. The historic artifacts were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable and the property provided parking. The breakfast was nice as well.

Very nice location with a beautiful mountain view. The "welcome card" provided by the hotel is quite useful. Although the facilities are not new, they have a vintage style. The owner told us that the history of the hotel is more than 600 years.
