CanadaI have traveled the world, and I can easily say this was one of the nicest stays in my life! I was visiting Grossarl from Vienna for a long weekend to hike the alps and relax at the spa. Not only were the location and facilities absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy, the staff was so attentive and professional. Everything felt like a dream- from being greeted with a welcome sekt to a lovely note with my name on it and complimentary chocolates in the room, to allowing a late check out and sending me off with a small gift of their own homemade smoked salt, everything was just perfect. I was treated so well by such friendly people. The dinners were an absolute highlight- each dish was brilliantly crafted and presented, and the taste almost made me cry. I have been telling my family and friends about Grossarlhof, and will continue to spread the word- my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in!

Superbe location, super friendly staff and excellent food in half pension. Rooms are cosy and nicely decorated We attended the cocktail course and it was a lot of fun The location is perfect for walks in the mountains.

Everything was great! Very good breakfast, wonderful dinner - thanks to the chefs! Great location - close to the ski lift. Very comfortable rooms. Large wardrobe for two, which is very important when you come to ski. The spa area is very nice. We had a wonderful holiday. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Romania-the water in the indoor jacuzzi and outdoor pool is not warm enough
-very nice,clean and spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows -very nice view from the balcony -cosy atmosphere at the bar in the lounge where is a fireplace,perfect for spendind some time -very good food,breakfast buffet with a lot of choices and fancy dinner 4-courses -nice spa area with saunas and relaxation room -supermarket Billa and gondola-main ski lift Grosarltal just across the street -free of charge underground parking (just make sure that your car hight is below 2,1 m);for SUV+roofboxes there are only 3 parking spaces in front of the hotel

Czech RepublicRidiculously small pool - just to get wet, noting more. Sauna without a cooling pool. But these drawbacks are forgotten due to all other benefits.
The hotel is amazing. A combination of rustic look (drawn to the perfection outside and inside) and modern amenities. Focus on every smallest detail (the list of those would be really very long) that makes the stay comfortable. Attentive and friendly staff. Dinner is a culinary event. Breakfast offer is plentiful and fresh. Spacious and convenient underground parking. Great whirlpool. Very comfortable room with a large balcony - 270° view.

AustriaI have known the Grossaler Hof for many years but unfortunately their Dutch chef ,the food, can be best case scenario a drive through Dutch cantina. I have never experienced a worse chef I ja my life and I have stayed in 1000 of hotels all over the world. To make the story short he has no idea of cooking ,everything and anything from the schnitzel at lunch to dinner and breakfast was a disaster. The quality of the food, the breakfast buffet from hard bread to poor selection is below minus one star! It would be best if possible for him to get a job at a fast food chain and even there I don’t think he’ll make it beyond a dish washer. I’m sorry to say so but those are facts and reality. I would never go back there so long this chef is cooking for the Grossarler Hof. Kind regards from San-Francisco, CA, Franz
