We had a great room with balcony but it was situated right above the smoking area for the casino which if you reserved a non-smoking room was not pleasant

Very expensive, no air condition in my room which you may need in the summertime there's a train in the front of the hotel but even though the location is really good.

Very nice hotel with very good location maybe the best in that village very good view at the lake many shops around you, and they have a good breakfast area, and they have a good and beautiful garden to sit outside.

Main bedroom (we booked a Suite) had a window that looks at a small terrace garden (Grass) which is blocked by a short wall from seeing the Lake. The living room has an Amazing View of the Lake

Bathroom had a Bidet which was amazing for us Facilities are CLEAN Breakfast has a wide selection and dinner offered Halal meat Staff are super helpful. Thalia, Maria and Kaes at Reception are the 3 we most interacted with Facilities have amazing Valet service that packed our bags in the car better than I did!

I was unable to drive to the hotel. The road was blocked. It turned out I had to call and speak to someone and the blockade will go down to allow you to come in to park. I had to park at the Rathaus parking lot. I wish I was told about this earlier. This is why I gave only 8/10 rating.

Perfect location close to boat tour with private beach access to the lake. Exceptional breakfast. I stay at the annex building and air condition works well. This was very helpful during the heat wave.

Our experience at Grand Hotel Zell am See was amazing. The hotel is very clean and well-kept, with friendly and kind staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location is perfect—right in the city center by the lake, yet quiet and peaceful, ideal for families. The rooms are fully equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the furniture is classic. Everything was in great condition, and we felt completely relaxed during our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zell am See!

If you have a car, the access can be tricky because of the narrow streets and the rail crossing. The rooms including the bathrooms, are on the small side. (We had the AC rooms).

We loved the location which is probably the best hotel location in Zell am See. The staff were really friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet had a great assortment of foods to choose from, and was delicious.

The delay for my request. I have to ask sometimes 3 times for toothbrush and toothpaste. Sometime if i ask for my car they take longer time to prepare it around 15 minutes to 30 minutes. The balcony is not private. Many kids are passing around.

The air-conditioning of the room could have been better, but it got the temperature there in the end! Not enough to really complain about seriously.

Beautiful location right at the heart of the town, and on the waterfront. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, and there are all kinds of facilities to entertain yourself. There are stand up boards and paddle boats you can use, and a jetty to jump off of into the water. A note that the age of other people at the hotel definitely trended older, do with that what you will.

The hotel itself is in serious need of renovation. The furniture is outdated and worn, and there is no air conditioning in the rooms or common areas, which makes it very uncomfortable, especially in warmer weather. With the current state of the facilities, the price is not justified. Yes, the location is great – but until the hotel invests in major upgrades and installs AC, it doesn’t offer good value for the money.

The staff at the hotel were amazing – friendly, helpful, and professional. The location is also excellent.

But when I sleep on the queen bed it shifts apart during sleep. The old locking is annoying and should be upgraded to the modern card keys.
