Fabulous position with glorious views of the Dachstein! Room was comfortable and all personnel friendly and helpful. Half board meals were tasty. We would be happy to return.

We really loved our stay here, it's such a charming classic Alpine hotel. The owner and the staff are so nice and kind, they were very helpful with everything. The breakfast was very generous, the restaurant is great, and if you get a mountain view room, then you'll get a breathtaking look over the Dachstein mountain range. The location is also excellent with many hiking routes, cable cars and sights nearby.

In summer, there can be a lot of flies in the restaurant which takes away the enjoyment. There can be more shower related accessories in the room.

The view is amazing. We get a panoramic view of the valley and the mountains surrounding it. The beds are cozy and the staff are polite and ready to help.

Don't change a thing!

I loved this hotel, and Gosau is a charming place to stay, very peaceful. The hotel was easier to get to than I thought for someone without a car. It can be reached from the center of the village by a lovely walk along a stream, or there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The tourist information office in the village is also very helpful.

The hotel is close to the road that passes through the village - bit noisy but very much ok!

Wonderful breakfast, the view was marvelous - green meadow, high peaks..., room super nice and comfortable. Was very hot and still got winter blanket:) Nice place to meet international people as well!

Wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view of the Alps, from the room and during breakfast. The restaurant's food is also very good and the people who work there are very kind, especially Brigitte with whom I had the most contact and got several tips about Gosau and the neighboring cities. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back :)

The rooms are a bit old but in this case it’s not a problem.

Very clean, very close to bus stop, great views of the mountains and a lot of green grass. Really beautiful place and very quiet. Also great options for dining with great breakfast. Really good and helpful staff. I will definitely return someday for a longer stay.

Doors were very sqeeky. We personally do not like feather pillows, as it is difficult to get support for the neck.

Rooms were a bit small and over furnished, 2 armchairs & coffee table in the room which served no purpose as there were 2 more and table in the balcony area. As we stayed only 4 nights I like to live out of my case rather than unpack and there was not much room to do this. No coffee/tea making facilties in the room, but after asking a kettle was provided. Luckily we brought our own cups, tea, coffee, etc. Lack of electric sockets, none by the bedside for charging mobiles. Had to unplug the TV to use the socket.

Our room had a closed in balcony which was great in the evening for enjoying the fantastic view. We chose half board and the choices of menu each evening were very nice. Nice terrace for sitting outside to have a drink or meal.
