SloveniaThe "budget double room" is not really suitable for two people, it says it has a double bed but it is really small (there was also only one pillow, one blanket and one towel), so we had to change the room for the normal "double room", which sadly did not have the balcony - but the view through the window was nice.
The food and the location were great.

We had to leave early ( at 8am ) in order to catch a flight . there was no one in front desk to check out! There was one man that didn’t speak English ! We couldn’t communicate . I left my cell phone so they call me for paying . I had to do a bank transfer and not able to pay with card . Very annoying…

Very close to the train station and ski lift, walking distance to the old town of Bad Gastein. Very friendly staff, decent breakfast. I stayed in a recently renovated room. Another befriended couple however stayed in an older room for the same price. So perhaps worth asking to be put in the newer rooms. All together absolutely nothing to complain. Just the pool is perhaps a bit small for the peak season.

SlovakiaThe bed was really bad, way too soft, maybe due to an old matrace, and a bit small for two people. The front desk staff didn't speak much English. There were some weird smells around the hotel, including our bathroom.
Great location. Yummy breakfast, even for picky eaters. Great that the infra sauna was open from 7am. The spa was small but nice.
