We’re sorry to hear that the hotel’s surroundings weren’t quite to your taste, though we appreciate you mentioning the cleanliness and the nice location close to the town center. Unfortunately, the nearby construction is beyond our control, but we hope it didn’t impact your overall relaxation too much. Our rooms do not have air conditioning, as the climate in Abtenau is usually mild and allows for natural cooling. We aim to choose mattresses and bedding that suit most preferences – your feedback is very helpful for future improvements. We take great pride in welcoming all our guests, so it is surprising to hear that you felt unnoticed, especially since your waiter was from your home country and spoke with you in your native language. We understand that you arrived just before 9:00 PM, outside our usual dinner hours, and we made an effort to accommodate you by offering you a meal even though the kitchen was already closed. Our colleague did her best to provide you with a meal, albeit reheated. We hope you can understand that this does not reflect the same quality as a freshly prepared dish. We regret that the meal didn’t meet your expectations. However, in such exceptional circumstances, we do hope for a bit more understanding of the situation. We must also clarify that we are unable to offer a refund, as the meal you received was a special exception to ensure you had something to eat when the kitchen was already closed. We wish you all the best and hope that, on your next visit – perhaps at more regular hours – you can enjoy our full culinary offerings to their fullest.
