How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Large, spacious and clean room. Comfortable beds. Perfect for a ski-vacation. We only stayed the night as a layover. Very good breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs.

The Bell on the Church Tower in front of our apartment strikes every 15 minuts all night

This hotel is very noisy. I slept on the first floor. There is only a door that separated my room from the other room. I could hear everything in the other room. The hotel is very close to a church and the church bell chimes every 15 minutes including at night.
Spacious, modern room. Very nice breakfast.

Classic Tyrolean inn with accommodation that offers authentic local atmosphere. Good food available at the restaurant, which is convenient after a day of cycling. Secure bike storage provided and the location is perfect - right on the cycling route. Ideal stop for cyclists looking for traditional hospitality and good meals.

accommodation is next to several churches, bells were ringing every hour, we didn't sleep at all.

Too hot and no fan — the heat is unbearable. The church bells ring every 15 minutes, and on the hour they ring for an extended time — especially at 7 AM and 7 PM. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but if you’re used to quiet surroundings, you may want to think twice before booking.

We arrived early on a day that the restaurant was shut and the key safe was easy to access and the garage was open to take our bikes. Good breakfast in the morning with vegan and gluten free options

Beautiful area! Breakfast was traditional and delicious. For a short stopover, hotel was a great choice. My mother really appreciated the wash cloths, as they have been missing from our European vacation. Small touches can make a stay more pleasant and homey.

I was slightly disappointed there was no place to put the bicycle in for the night - it was just locked to the railing, and out in the rain for the whole night.
The facilitated check in, even if there is no reception open, is a great option since I tend to arrive earlier. The breakfast was outstanding - the amount could keep me going for 2 days...

Bed was very comfortable, the view from the window was wonderful. It was very peaceful and the breakfast was large and very enjoyable. This was a very comfortable stay in what was just suppose to be a place to split our journey.

Very nice hotel in the center of Bischofshofen. Great food (breakfast as well as al carte) and professional service. Spacious and very clean room. Beautiful castle with birds show (falcons and eagles) nearby worth visiting. Certainly a place for another stay.

Pleasant place in the centre of Bischofshofen close to walking tracks or to the shopping area in necessary. Considering the location surprisingly quiet. Just be careful - the food smells and tastes more than good :)

The owner met us after-hours, during closed days for the hotel/restaurant. Incredibly helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great, and we were offere take-away packing, to not waste what remained of our breakfast. This is the sort of place we LOVE staying while traveling. The resraurant was very charming and detailed decor.
