Wonderful place

Great stopover with comfortable rooms and a very good restaurant. Our dog was welcome and there were good places for walking him.

Our room had a lot of road noise. We were overlooking the road, it was raining and we had the balcony doors open due to the heat.

The room was clean, spacious and had a nice balcony and view. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of different options. There is also an on-site restaurant serving authentic homemade food. It gets 10/10 and is open from 11:30 am, so you can have lunch and dinner there. I would recommend eating there whenever you can. There are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options at breakfast and in the restaurant.

Some of the rooms have not been renovated yet and still have an old-style design. Nevertheless, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.

nothing pops up negatively

It was super cute and big room in Alpines mountain. We woke up and saw cows in the garden. The lady who working in the restaurant was so kind and friendly. We rented 3 people room and rooms were separated. Breakfast was also so good.

Beautiful surrounding. Clean and comfortable room. Spectacular view. Very quiet. 10minutes from Salzburg. Easy to get there, no traffic.

Single bed was narrow, small... while double was large enough. Breakfast could have more varieties. Replenishment was extremely slow. Empty bowls and plates...

We really enjoyed our staying at this place. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were really helpful and nice. The room was comfortable with a stunning view.

Nice clean accommodation in a beautiful location.

The staff weren’t very friendly and when we arrived we were just told we were ‘in a small room’ despite booking a room for two adults, a child and our dog. I also messaged in advance to double check they had given us a room with enough space and they assured me they would. We then went into the restaurant for dinner, weren’t showed to our table just handed menus and told ‘go in the other room and sit where you like’. We aired and waited for service but nothing so I went back to the other room to ask if we could order and was told ‘someone will be with you right away’ (the restaurant wasn’t busy) another ten minutes and still no one despite another server coming and taking the order of a family who arrived after us. I went and asked again and she finally came and took our order without apology for the wait. In the morning we discovered we had no hot water but we needed to get on the road so I had a freezing shower and we went to check out. On check out I explained we had no hot water and was told ‘yeah it’s happened three times now where it’s working at night but by morning it’s not working anymore. Sorry. Here’s your bill’ with no major apology or offer of reduction of the bill or goodwill gesture as apology like ‘we’ve taken the cost of your drinks off the dinner bill’ or ‘we didn’t charge you for breakfast because you had no hot water’. We’re pretty low maintenance guests when we travel, but I do expect friendliness and at least an effort at customer service when things go wrong. A shame really as the property is charming and the location is stunning.

The place was very clean. There is an elevator, so moving luggage was easy. Breakfast was sufficient.

The bathroom was spacious, but the shower tray was extremely small and rather slippery. I find the price charged to be on the high side.
