We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was. Our room was not only comfortable but also very well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is a huge selling point. It's perfectly situated, allowing us to easily walk to both the city center and the lakeside. To top it all off, the breakfast was delicious and generous, offering a great variety of options to start our day right. The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and a good recommendation. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ebensee or Salzkammergut.

The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the stay is in a quite place. The food they serve and the breakfast that was included with the stay was super tasty and of good quality. The owner was a nice guy, he was so helpful and so kind.

Ebense is a very good place if you like hike or do water sports. There are a plenty of hiking trails from beginner to hard.

Very small bathroom, not a big issue for us, but for someone bigger size could be uncomfortable. Town and lake are close by, but you have to climb up the hill going back, so we had to take a car, because we were with a small child.

Toilet/bathroom door is one of those new trendy 'sliding' doors on a rail so the door doesn't actually 'close' so either be happy hearing your partner in the morning or use the ones downstairs when you go for breakfast ;) No Aircon.

Stayed for 1 night as we headed down to Slovenia. We didn't eat at the Gasthof that evening bit the food looked great from what we saw. A cold beer was certaiy welcome after 5 hours on a motorbike. A 15 minute walk down I'm to town will take you to food / drink options. The rooms is clean and tidy and ensuite and the beds are nice and firm and comfortable. Breakfast is plated cold cuts and cheeses and fresh bread rolls (they brought in gluten free bread for my wife) and also a selection of pate, jam, Nutella etc. And a boiled egg each. The penzion has its own parking lot. Good night's sleep and nice and quiet. 100% would stay here again.

The owner was very nice, the breakfast was good and the property itself is clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t be happier with this choice. Definitely recommend if you’re traveling around the lake area! Also the price was very very worth it

my only problem was the size of the bed. It was only 140cm wide and it is small for two grown ups, but everything else was perfect.

The price - quality level was great. The breakfast was nice and plenty, The tidiness was above my expectation. Everything was new, and perfectly clean.

They only thing I could think of is to ask the guest if they want a plate of meat in front of them at breakfast, as not all of us eat meat. An alternative to meat would have been good.

Great location not far from the lake. It is a sleepy town but it is a good place to stay for a night before moving on. There is a car park attached to the Gasthof which is handy. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. Breakfast was laid out for us when we came down in the morning. Breakfast is as basic but did the job

Excellent service, very tasty and varied breakfast. A large selection of dishes for dinner. The rooms are small, but have everything necessary. Purely. The facility is picturesquely located. Nearby there is a chairlift. Silence around. I recommend. We was only one night.
