Our room faced the road which was loud. Not much they can do about that, but something to be aware of when choosing a room. Also, there are no bug screens on the windows or balcony door, and the ceiling fan didn’t work. We tried leaving the windows open at night for some air flow but the mosquitoes took advantage and we had to shut them. With a fixed ceiling fan or screens it would be just fine.

Close to the train station, and easy access when completing stage 25 of the Salzburger Almenweg. The staff is friendly and incredibly efficient. Clean room and private bathroom. Charming garden area. Good restaurant.

Everything was excellent! Really clean facilities, friendly staff and magnificent surroundings. Prefer to book with breakfast, really values for money (ask for the omelette)! No charge for our small dog as well.

Breakfast was rather average (but all fresh, which is nice). There is a church right opposite the building and its bell rings every 15 minutes, even during the night. It is not at all the fault of the hotel, but be prepared for it especially if you are a light sleeper.

Very nice hotel in a small quiet village. We spent one night here during our roadtrip and it was a good stop to relax. The room was clean and spacious as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was average, I wuould say, not too many things to choose from and we had to ask/wait for clean dishes. The restaurant right in the hotel was excellent on the other hand, very convenient to have it in the building after a long day on the hike/road. No problem with the free parking on the property, there was enough space.

Traditional yet with modern touches, very nice and efficient staff, great atmosphere and best Schnitzel I've had in years. Will definitely come back and stay at the Gasthof Post, and keep enjoying the views on the mountains and the cute church from the confortable room.

Missing a little storage space in the bathroom.

Really lovely and attentive staff and great breakfast. Room with the view of the mountains, and our dog was allowed for a fee of 20EUR. Free parking was nice also.

Next to a quite busy road, though trafic is limited during the night. Pilots were really soft.

Nasty reception and restaurant service. Stopped in front and decided to check in directly with hotel but they quoted 137 euros. I showed him Booking price of 99 euros but her again quoted 137. Went to parking lot and booked on Booking for 99. In restaurant I requested an item but was given incorrect item. Mentioned this to waiter who just pushed incorrect item back to me and left. Just rude. Also waiter gave me 4 euros in 50 cents pieces as change. Why? Breakfast was good.

Everything was great.

Great location. Whatever you want to visit in the area it's worth booking a couple extra days just to relax at the hotel and take a walk in the village. There are very good restaurants around, even one at the ground floor with great food. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very nice. Will definitely visit the area again in the future and book this place. Would recommend it to anyone.

Our room 9 had only small window near the floor, that was not so much helpful in summer heat. We did not feel so much welcome. I guess that the reason is our poor german. This is not typical international resort. It looked that they prefer locals.

Many breakfast choices, including a variety of coffees and drinks. When arriving they ask what kind of eggs you prefer, meanwhile you can already enjoy the breakfast with a huge variety of fresh options!
