No very nearby places to eat, but there are some in Reutte.

In a 1980's time warp, but charming and clean. Truly spectacular view all around. Ten minute drive to Fussen.

It's a standard hotel as many in this part of the world, well maintained, but built some years ago. So, nothing wrong, just outdated.

Excellent alternative for hotel on the German site, especially for late arrivals.

Small room, miniature bathroom, no air conditioner (it was cold in the room). Firm beds.

Quiet and calm region. Very close to the castles.

    A Beautiful View!

We had to do self check-in, which was fully explained by the host via our Booking.com messages. We got a key from a lock box in front of the main house. It was pouring rain, so getting the key and walking to the annex building with our bags (no parking there), then carrying them to the 3rd floor when wet was a little unwelcoming. No elevator. No A/C, but we were able to leave the balcony door open. No screens. One agile fly. The neighbors were smoking on their balcony, and it was blowing in our room. Toilet was running when we awoke, but no fix available before we left as the host was busy with morning duties, and we understood. It is a truly lovely place, but we felt distant from the host. Overall, it is worth the price and location.

The location is stunningly beautiful, with a view of the mountains. The building is well-maintained. The room and bath were very clean, with a lovely balcony on which to admire the surroundings. We were looking for a place close to Neuschwanstein Castle. Although this was in Austria, it was close, with no border crossing problems back and forth. We had a unique, fun room on the 3rd floor of a pretty annex building, just across the street. Park next to the main building and be sure to follow parking guidelines (a big diagram on the barn above the parking.) Absolutely beautiful location! Vielen Dank!

Although clean/comfortable bed, scant breakfast and hot room not a good value

The room was too warm at night with no aircon or even a fan. We had to leave the window open but it was stiil too warm even without the blanket and invited the mosquitos into the room. Considering the cost, the lack of a European breakfadst with at least some meat, cheese, brotchen, and the hot room with no fan, i would say that it's not a good value for the money.

Room and facilities are clean. The one staff person we met at the desk in the morning was friendly and helppful. Very simple breakfast of yogurt and ceral was sufficient.

A few other options at breakfast would have been good.

We enjoyed our stay here although it was only for a single night on a road trip. The hotel was easy to find and the room simple to access despite there being no staff on duty until the next morning. The hotel was in a quiet location and we had great views of the surrounding mountains once the heavy rain cleared. There was an honesty bar open in the evening and a basic breakfast available in the morning with coffee, tea, cereals, yogurt and milks. The room was very clean and comfortable and our room also had a table and chairs, perfect for a snack in our room for dinner. Recommended.

The wife didn't like the salf check-in. She's more social than me. The visit was very worth any issue with check in.

The view rught out our room's window of the Alps was fantastic. The location is in a vary small village, but very close to a town.

There is no elevator available, not a problem, but after a day of hiking my knees were hurt and even the small flight of stairs was a bit tough for me :)

Checking in was easy with a locker, we were free to check in late. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was basic and nice.

No one to check us in. We were staying in a building across the street but there wasn’t a map or any communication of where that was other than a building number which was very hard to see in the dark. We spent 10 -15 minutes in the cold looking for it.

Great location, easily accessible when passing through Austria from Germany. The offered free breakfast was great (including coffee, breakfast cereal, milk, yoghurt - even soy milk), especially considering it was advertised as no breakfast. Spacious room and easy late check-in.

We had to carry luggage up the stairs. But to be expected for traditional houses. Not a big problem. Location was good for us as we drove. Otherwise, may be an issue.

Very clean Comfortable beds and facilities We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Quiet and serene surroundings - farmland, a Chapel, view of mountains Good breakfast - good selection of cereals and hot drinks
