Unfortunately there were a lot of flies inside and location wise wasn’t optimal for us (the view makes up for it though).

The staff is very kind, the beds are nice and the food was excellent. The view was incredible!

The rooms are not very spacious. However, they are very clean and the beds are wonderful.

Hans and Helga are so nice! They were very welcoming and advised us about the best time to departure to Croatia. The breakfast was also very good.

The room was quite small bit it was ok. The toilet was shared with other guests in the corridor.

The hotel owner is really nice and helpful with everything. We really really loved the Thai cuisine cooked there (with delivery to our appartment due to our baby), great taste and serving. We had a nice terrace in our appartment. The surroundings are quiet.

Friendly and very helpful staff who knows their job very well. This is family run small hotel and restaurant. Excellent kitchen. Wonderful mountain view from the window and balcony. Check out is straight at 10 a.m. Breakfast time can be delayed upon request.

Very friendly staff - keys available on arrival. Nice room with balcony for views over a tranquil setting. Plenty of parking (use the parking on the right hand side of building). Easily accessible from motorway at Spittal. Restaurant on site was very good, as was breakfast. The Roman museum (Teurnia), a few miles away, is very good. It is split over 3 sites - the ticket office and information is at St. Peter in Holz.

Perhaps two wastebaskets in the room even though the one was emptied daily.

What a good 'find.' This was in a quiet area outside of the Hallstatt area. We chose this because it was close to Spittal an der Drau. So, the Reidnwirt was great. The staff was so friendly that you felt as if you had known them for years. The room was a bit small for two people, but we managed and we had twin beds as requested. Our trash was picked up daily. We spent two nights. Free parking out front was convenient. The views from our room were fantastic since a storm was rolling in. The photos are views from our room ... we didn't hardly use the balcony as the weather turned chilly, but I cannot stress enough how fantastic the mtn views were from our room. Just a beautiful setting for families (there is a large outdoor space with play items for children), perfect for couples, good for business folks with a car. We ate dinner downstairs in the bar/restaurant twice. Great food and a fun, quiet atmosphere. I imagine in the summer, there are more folks in there, but we enjoyed a few patrons. The room was on the 2nd floor (American counting) and that wasn't fun for my back, but we managed. It is an older Gasthof but everything was very clean and neat. If you enjoy meeting local people and blending in with them, then this is the place to lay your head. Beds were comfortable. It would take us about 15 minutes to get into Spittal and park. We also enjoyed driving through some of the nearby small towns. My cousin and I would definitely stay there again!

This place is amazing! Everything was great! We stayed there with a 5 months old baby and all three of us liked that place very much ! The owner even offered us better room than we ordered and that was very sweet and pleasant. There are beautiful places to walk around. The breakfast was also very delicious. The hostess was very kind. The place is focused on family's with the small baby, they have baby beds and baby chairs . So, to make long story short - we totally recommend this place.
