We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThere was a light fitting in the room that was broken and didn't seem very safe. It wouldn't stop me staying again though.
The staff were really lovely and the location was spectacular. The room was clean and reasonably spacious and breakfast was great (clearly local produce).

SloveniaWhen i arrived it looked like a haunted house. When I called their (grownup) daughter gave me the key. I didnt meet the owner. And nobody asked me about my personal documents. A breakfast was poot and the bread was old and dry (although the bakery is 5m away) Wifi mostly didn't work. The room didn't have a hairdryer. If you skii at Flachauwink or Zauchensee you have to pay a tunel ticket every dan.
Very nice contemporary room, well planed. Their daughter was nice and kind.

Slovenia!!Warning!! Especially foreigns! We were staying in this pension for a night, next day after breakfast we paid with cash, it was 124,6€, I gave the lady 125€ (2x 50€, 1x 20€ and 1×5€ and I said keep the change, she was greatful. So we went to the room to get our stuff and were about to leave when the younger lady stopped us and was claiming that we only gave them 75€ not 125€. That was weird since this was our first stop of the holidays and we knew how much money we had on us. Lesson learned, I hope you dont get tricked as well so watchout! If you intend to stay there, pay with a card and insist on getting a receipt. Very disappointing that things like that happen in Austria.
