Very small restaurant for dinner that packed out quickly so we didn’t get to eat there, was nowhere to just get a drink.

Quirky, old, rustic hotel in the middle of town - parking out front is limited but there’s free parking down the road by the train station. Really friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Comfy rooms with fabulous views of the mountains and castle!

I do not think that the price reflects the accommodation but of course this comes down to location and availability as well as other things.

Since this is also a restaurant, people were almost constantly smoking right at the front door, which we could smell even on the first floor. Train tracks run fairly close by, so there's some noise during the night (no A/C, so you'll need to open the windows in hot weather).

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the rooms was amazing. The kids loved the first floor lounge, we ended up playing cards there on both evenings.

There was no AC in the room, and due to the warm weather we had to keep the balcony door towards the noisy street open at night. Cars and trucks woke us up too early.

The wifi was bad in the evening when all the guests were using it. We we so "unlucky" to arrive when the hotel restaurant was closed for dinner, but that was our fault, not to have done our research.

We had a really unpleasant experience with one of the older staff members. In general, he did not seem to have any people skills and on the last day, I was told off by him during the breakfast buffet in front of other guests. There was no wrongdoing or mistake on my part, so I hope it was just a misunderstanding and the gentleman was just in a bad mood. However, I did not receive an apology from him.

We were lucky and had a room with a balcony away from the street, so there was no noise at night. The bed was okay, and we were pleased with the selection during the breakfast buffet. Upon our request, they provided us with gluten-free bread every morning, the taste of which exceeded my expectation. And thumbs up for the thoughtful and superb cleaning service!

Just one little thing, it would be nicer if the bed has one matrace instead of the mattresses on queen size bed for couples. 🙂 Otherwise there was nothing we didn’t like.

You're right in the middle of town. I always wanted to stay in one of these beautiful alp style hotels and this one did not disappoint. Beautiful views everywhere inside and out.

Nothing to complain about.

Very clean, grade + 10. Very polite and professional staff. We tried the local food and drinks recommended by them in their restaurant, they were very delicious. If you stay there, you must try the deer dish. The breakfast was very delicious and varied. From the moment you enter the hotel, you can feel an authentic traditional atmosphere.

Central location with a great restaurant. Private parking is available in this beautiful little town. All in town is within walking distance. Close to Salzburg, Hohenwerfen Castle and the falls.
