Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hospitality of the hosts made me feel at home as a solo traveler. The basics were all covered very nicely, clean and well furnished rooms, good beds and bedsheets. I especially enjoyed the mix between an old mountain cabin vibe done with modern finishes.

There is so much to like. Beautiful apartment, games and books available at the lounge, nice design of the restaurant, absolutely gorgeous breakfasts and dinners. But what is even better are exceptionally nice and kind owners.

Friendly hosts, rooms and environment modern and clean. Excellent dinner and breakfast with plenty of choice (I still think of the homemade bread). I'll come back if I have a way around in the future.

GermanyNothing at the Gasthof, everything was good and the owners were really helpful and friendly. Getting food in town proved a little difficult as it was the beginning of the season and still quiet so a few places had closed the kitchens early. Luckily the pizzeria at the top of the town was open and service late and the pizza was GREAT!
Really like the hotel overall, unfortunately due to traffic we arrived too late and so didn't get to sample dinner there. The hosts recommended places we could eat in Sankt Michael im Lungau and were serving drinks and welcoming guests until quite late. Breakfast was very good as was the advice for getting to our next location

You can spend some time in a very nice dining and living room on the ground floor. Friendly dog included! Facility is close to two ski resorts - you can use skibus or car (~10min).

The guest house is very nicely renovated, with modern touch. The owners are very nice, and their doggy Joep adds to friendly, cosy atmosphere of the house. The breakfast and dinner are very tasty. We occupied the family room with two bedrooms, it was really very comfortable. The location of the house is perfect for the skiers, the ski bus stops just in front of the house and the village centre is very near. We will definitively come back!

Czech RepublicOutstanding accommodation. The communication with hosts was great already before we arrived as we wanted to make sure we can take our dog. As dog lovers themselves, they were happy to help and during our (unfortunately rainy) stay they made sure we have everything we need (e.g. extra towels for doggo!). We could take our dog with us to breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was phenomenal - from homebaked (still warm) bread and brownies to eggs as you please. Hosts are very proactive and come to you with tips on what to do (I noticed personalized tips - offering e-bikes to an older couple, walking areas to us). St. Michael is a lovely place to stay, surrounded by many lakes and hiking areas, so we definitely plan to come back. Oh, and hosts are crazy multi-lingual, so everyone felt really at home there. I recommend 10000% :)
