From time to time the best option for me to stay overnight on the long drive from Vienna to Bolzano. Nothing exciting, but it does it's thing.

Convenient place for a night in transit. Over the years I was there a few times but I was surprised that I paid almost as much for a dorm bed as before for a room. Anyway I was the only one in the room, so it did not matter to me. And I appreciate the cleanliness and the location at the outskirts of the town

There were some issues with water on the floor in the room and dirty cover, however the personnel has immediately reacted to the clims in a positive way. The rooms are really hot and the windows are really small in some rooms. In a summer night can be really airless.

The pension was correct in terms of value for money. It is simple but perfect for a short stay. The common bathrooms were tidy and comfortable. The restaurant right next to the pension is a great choice.

It took a long time to find the codes to get in (eventually rescued by a lovely lady at the restaurant next-door), and the bathroom facilities are quite old.

Loads of parking available.

Contact on the arrival was not straightforward. We called and all went fine, but would be nicer to have gotten earlier a message saying how this works (please call us when you arrive), or have it written close to the dorr of the property.

- no wifi password available at the room (had to investigate) - no official welcome - had contact with the staff only via phone at arrival - no ski-room to dry your ski boots - room very simple with only one roof window yet just as displayed on pictures so expected it

- 3 minutes driving to ski resort parking - clean, warm and tied room and bathroom - good breakfast in the restaurant close-by (eggs, fresh bakery, ham, cheese, spreads and some sweet choice) - quiet nights (there were only about 2 rooms occupied during the weekend on our level) - good wifi signal - close to an aquapark to have good apreski

Tried to mail them before to extend my stay, but no one answered. The owners/staff doesn't speak english. After some confusion, my questions were answered in a phone with the owners daughter (?). No reception at the property. Didn't get any messages or advice where to go to logg in /how to get the key. The property looked empty, but the back door was open. Finally i went to ask the instructions fom the tennis hall restaurant, and got the instructions from there. Unfortunately, they weren't totally correct and for a short while i was a bit confused if i have a room at all. The back door was open during the whole stay (day and night), witch felt a bit unsafe. First i didn't get any hot water to my room. No one told me that i have to run the water 5-10 minutes to get the hot water. First night i didn't wash myself at all because of the lack of hot water. Then in the morning, there was about one hours period, when there wasn't any water coming from the hot side. Finally i washed my hair with ice cold water. Later i got the explanation that ther were some workers that must have shut down the hot water for a while.

Room was clean and quiet. Good comfy bed.

I like the location how it's looking like 👍 👌 And the room was very comfortable with nice Looking stranding and with nice restaurant service 👌 they're so friendly and nice small.

The bathroom where the laundry was was a bit messy, there was a party on downstairs at the pub that went to 2am and it was so loud which made it hard to sleep.

The staff were really nice and the rooms were clean.

No one was on site when I went to check in.. waited for 1 hour, staff didn't speak English. Communal shower with no privacy, TV didn't work, no kitchen

I'm not a big of shared showers (without separators) - wasn't a problem for me since there were very few people in the hostel. Staff did not speak english.

I had a private room and it was comfortable and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. Perfect if you are looking for a very cheap place to spend one night.

I booked late in the day and they still managed to get me a room. This is a no-nonsense, Hostelstyle place but everything was functional and the location is great close to the highway (not in hearing distance). Very friendly and helpful staff, all very functional for an overnight stay towards slowenia. Very satisfied and great value for money

The mess everywhere, a lot of broken stuff, no cozy green area. Expensive for what you get.
