How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were a bit dated and stale in decore.
We stayed at the hotel for one night on our way to Italy. The location was convenient, just off the highway. The staff were lovely, very helpfuland the pub style food was good and well and truly enough. The room was quite large with a great view and it was clean and comfortable for our requirements.

There were no basic items such as toothbrush and toothpaste, room slippers and shampoo. Personally, I had forgotten my toothbrush and I didn't like to walk in the room barefoot, but I had to. And the distance to the railway station takes almost twenty minutes and there was no bus station available!. The hotel was located next to the street and the windows were not enough to prevent the sound from entering, and since there was no air conditioning for the bathroom, I had to leave the window open and bear the sound of the street and the cars.
ThThe staff were very friendly and despite the busyness of the restaurant and other responsibilities, they quickly led me to my room.

Unfortunately the road right outside the hotel has quite a lot of traffic and in hot weather with windows open this noise is bad for light sleepers.
Dog friendly, very good evening meal and breafast, best to book table for evening meal as can be very popular (as it's also open to non-residents). Facilities all OK and location is walkable to the very nice pedestrianised town centre.

Good value for the price. Reasonable location - not too close to Dornbirn train station but walkable and there is a bus. Everything was clean, good view. Breakfast was sufficient.

It’s quite a walk from the bus station or the train station, around 30min. The mattress and the pillow were a bit too soft for my liking, but otherwise everything is great!
The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was great and the room was nice.

I adored this hostel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was exquisite and the room was lovely! It was great having a private bathroom. It was a lot more like a hotel than hostels I've stayed at previously, but still had the personal interaction with the staff. The location was good, right near a bus stop the was only a few stops away from the train station and city center. The room was cozy and well decorated, and I felt like I had just the right amount of space for my week long stay.

The location is not that central, but we knew what we are booking. No other comments.
It’s a very nice small hotel with a great restaurant (top schnitzels!) on the first floor. The room we got was very big and comfortable, with great beds and good blindfolds on the windows. It was very clean as well. And the staff is wonderful! Overall a top experience for the price, will certainly return at some point.

No A/C or sealing vent.. If leaving room window open on street side rooms you not going get any sleep, since main road. Noise unbearable. House run down.
Biergarten. Ladies are giving the best possibile service. Free parking sufficient.
