Lovely guest house with excellent value for money, fantastic healthy and rich breakfast. The hostess, Gaby, is a warm and vibrant lady who is forthcoming and exceptionally helpful. The place has been around for 60 years though it has been renewed several times. It maintains an authentic Austrian feeling and well worth staying over.

The land lady is very chatty and kind. Breakfast was yum. Best option for spring skiing is to get a ski locker at inter sport in the hahnenkamm bahn for €12 per day for 2 people.

Breakfast needs more variety and the towels were so scratchy. Not deal breakers would stay again because of cleanliness and hospitality

A bit of a walk from the centre / main lift to the hotel. The shower could have done with a shower curtain.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave all information about the sking area. The room was cosy,cealn and servis was good. The location is near to the centar,five minutes walking. Very nice pleace for recomedation.

Excellent value in Kitzbuhel! Owner/Manager is super friendly and helpful. Building is within 15 minute walk of the train stations and the lifts. Room was warm and comfortable, with a balcony to smoke or keep items cold. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it's a great place to come back to and relax.

A small suggestion. I’m a coffee fiend - for my taste i’d prefer stronger coffee at breakfast.

Beautiful room - petite but refurbished and designed to a high standard. Extremely quiet location - no disturbance from happy apres-skiers. Warm welcome from family owners - it felt like a wonderful genuine high standard Austrian experience (rather than a glossy clinical corporate one).

Wünderbar! Very kind people, excellent breakfast (fresh eggs, bread, coffee, fruit, yoghurt), lovely rooms, helpfulness 24/7. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. It's a 10 min walk from the mountain. Perfect for a restful stay and for skiing!

It’s a little far away (10 minutes) from the Hahnenkamm gondola, but on the other hand close to the sport park, where one can enjoy Kitz Adlers hockey game with a beer!

The quality for the price was outstanding as most hotels in Kitzbühel start to be out of reach moneywise. The hotel was very quiet and cleand, and we were greeted and taken well care by the charming and nice host Maria.

The walls seems to be quit thin, so you'll hear other guest in the floor. But this wasn't a problem during the night.

Quiet location with nice valley view. There's a heater for ski boots, breakfast was nice and the host was helpful with tips and other recommendation for bad weather. Parking was free.

The Gasthaus Wallner is that little undiscovered gem that is still waiting to be discovered. In a town I used to live and work in for 3 years, the place has certainly changed. Lots of smaller to mid sized hotels have closed down to be replaced with more flash and expensive places to stay. Set slightly back from the main hustle and bustle of Kitz, it's only a 10 min walk to the main Hahnenkamn lift (And only a 14min walk to the main train station with plenty of taxis available) and ski shops. In between the lift and Gasthaus, are numerous shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. I stayed in a single room, which was more than big enough for just myself. A good sized shower is always a plus. WiFi was a decent signal, TV had a huge variety of different language channels, something for everyone. A ski room/boot room is also available should you need to use it, otherwise other ski locker options are available in town. Breakfast was a fairly decent sized spread. Your typical German/Austria breakfast of juices/tea/coffee/different breads/ different meats/cheese/jams/boiled eggs etc. The owner is the most wonderful woman you could ever hope to meet. Full of local information to help you enjoy your stay in resort. Her English speaking skills are second to none! The Gasthaus is a true family operation.Would most certainly stay here again if any rooms become available.

Would have been nice if the hotel had a bar or communal area to relax with friends.

The host was very welcoming. Nice clean rooms. The single room had a great shower. Breakfast was ideal before a day skiing. Host even made breakfast early for our group because we had an early pick up. 15 walk to ski lift. 10 mins walk into town.

Our host was lovely and she gave us some great suggestions to make our trip more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and they were so accommodating for my wife’s gluten free diet. Highly recommend.
