We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel in Wagrain, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Roland and Lisa are truly amazing hosts – warm, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. From arranging a booster seat for our child in the car, to giving us thoughtful recommendations for daily trips, they went above and beyond in every way. They even made sure our kids, who have celiac disease, had fresh gluten-free bread every morning. When the kids didn’t like the first option, they went out of their way to find something better – such a rare level of care and attention! On top of that, every day we had fresh, delicious rolls waiting for us right at our door – such a treat. The room itself was spotless, spacious, beautifully equipped, and had everything we could possibly need (and more!). The view from the room was simply breathtaking, and it made every morning feel magical. The property has a lovely play area for children, a great swimming pool with games, and all the practical comforts you could hope for – including a fully stocked kitchen, laundry machines, and dryers available for guests. The location is perfect as well – right in town, just steps away from a great supermarket, and close to everything you might want to see or do in the area. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was Roland and Lisa themselves. They genuinely care about their guests and have the biggest hearts. Every small detail was taken care of, and whenever we had an issue during our trip (completely unrelated to the hotel), they were immediately there to help. This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in, and without a doubt, we will be coming back again and again. Our time here was absolutely incredible, and we already can’t wait to return.

The place is in a grate place to go on trips from,up to 1 hour drive from most of the attraction in Salzburg area . The place is clean, everything is like new. You get complimentary fresh bread on your doorstep every morning, pool and play room.

No fans or air conditioner, and we had some really hot days. Other than that everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was very spacious, clean and highly maintained. The kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool and playground, as well as the indoor playroom. The location is great, central but quiet, and there is a Billa supermarket just a few minutes away which was very convenient. Will definitely come back again!

There is not much to improve, it is clear that the owners of the place have thought of everything. I can point out the communal washing machine and tumble dryer, which were sometimes occupied. In such a place it was possible to propose doubling these measures. Although this would certainly be an exception. I will also point out that the coffee machine is not a Nespresso capsule machine but a filter machine. It is not clear from the website, so in the end we did not use it (the coffee beans are not provided). It would be nice if there were supplies such as sugar, salt, oil in the room. These are means that can be purchased at the supermarket, but it is a "shame" to purchase a bottle of oil, for example, when you only need a little for one-time cooking. We did notice that other guests left a few products, but that was by chance. It is important for me to say that these comments are truly exceptional and are not significant comments. The experience was perfect and we are grateful for it.

This is one of the best places we have stayed in our lives in all the trips we have made. Excellent location, new building or at least looks new and the equipment is also of unsurpassed quality and level. A feeling that we were the first to be in the apartment. The apartment is very large with three bedrooms, each bedroom has a bathroom and private toilet for that room. There is a dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen exactly as it says on the website. The beds are very comfortable. There is a balcony with a mountain view. In the lobby there is a reception desk that operates part of the time (mainly in the morning). Fresh pastries are delivered to the room every morning. A great experience and stunning hosts who do everything to make us feel good. Very kind and very helpful. Well done and thank you!

Everything is quite modern and super clean. They have a really nice area for kids and with lots of toys and our little daughter was super happy. The location is also really good, with supermarket and restaurants reacheable easily by foot. Ah, and of course, the manager/owner is the best! Always ready to help, with great advices.

The place is super clean and large. The kitchen is wery well equiped. There are several games for the kids and family. There is also a pool but we didn't use due to cold weather. Loundary machine and drier available in the lobby which we used several times during the stay. We got a fresh bread each morning. The host is super nice. The family running Schattauer was very friendly and helpfull walking the extra mile for the guests. The appartment was newly renowated and cleaning was really spotless. All the family members loved Schattauer and we highly recommend everyone staying there when visiting Wagrain.

You should prepare with shopping before you arrive, pay attention to the opening times of the supermarkets before they are short.

The stay was special and lovely. We enjoyed it very much, central location close to the supermarket and restaurants.
